  • This video MUST be old. @ 2:30 Dude is spraying lacquer with no mask......

  • I play a Force 3007 Series, but I'm very fond of the Delite, and if I was rich I'd go for an SQ2 set. Everybody has a problem with drumsets. The toms are two big, two small, bass drum size, floor tom size. But not only is the SQ2 a custom drumset that will last you for life, it's made by the best drum company in the world.

  • so its pronounced "so-nore" ?

  • Right, as in sonority (the quality of being resonant or 'sonorous')

  • Yes, it's pronounced So(NOR) and the accent is on the second syllable of the word if I am not mistaken. I have no clue on where these clowns get the pronunciation of....... So(nar). There is no (nar) in the spelling. It sounds the way it is spelled. If people want to play the Sonor brand drum, they should learn how to pronounce it correctly. It's a bit embarrassing.

  • Cool video...............

  • You guys with 2 and 3001, 003, 005, 007. Your drums come from the Mapex facility, not here. That's not bad or anything, but they are not made like this.

  • How are they madre, I own a 2007.

  • lmao the guy's hair at 1:31

  • rofl

  • Now I understand the high prices of sonor drums. Hi quality in all the process of construction.

  • i got 3005 series. love em.

  • i have a 10 piece sonor phonic series from like 1978

  • I was gonna get an SQ2 but I realized how much more I was coughing up in options. I mean don't get me wrong, they are sick drums but the delite is the same vintage shell. So that's what I got. 3 more months.....seems like a long time.

  • The SQ2 offers more options than any other line, which is one reason for the additional cost. The vintage maple is just one of the many shell offerings.

  • i'm getting my sq 2 next month ooohh i can't wait

  • I prefer German construction, I got mistrust about Chinese construction sorry

  • German made SONOR products are the real deal! They have been making those drums for 130 years! Yes, they are VERY pricey...serious drums for serious players!

  • double traditional bass drums!! nice... i wish i had another bass drum haha... but yeah man sonor drums are the best!!

  • i have the force 2005 (special and limited edition) with two kick drums, and i truly love it. Before that i had a delite from 1979, which were my dads but still played great.

  • The Delite came out in 2000.

  • how can i know the model of my delite kit? it has square badges.. thanks for posting

  • Delite is the model

  • Oh, Sorry, I meant the year

  • Hard to say...what is the finish? Does it have the traditional SONOR round headed tension rods, or the typical square ones?

  • Should be stamped on the inside of the shell.

  • i have the 3007 special edition

  • im getting a force 3007 full mapple :)

  • I have a sonor force 2001..

  • I got a handmade force 2000 =) Shame they don't handmake the force series in germany anymore =(

  • This guy sounds like chuck norris.

  • I live by Sonor! I bought it as my second kit and it's the best I've ever played!

  • i just recently purchased the force 3007 in autumn fade and it is to die for guys...amazing finish and above all awesome tone.

  • I bought the same one but in red maple

  • agreed. i'm actually inclined to buy sonor next if for the only reason that ludwig, tama, ayotte, premiere, etc. don't give a crap about transparency and bending over backwards about their product on the web.

  • i absolutely love these type of drum videos.. how they're made, how cymbals are made.. all that stuff.

  • me too, heck I love watching the show HOW IT'S MADE and watching how they make erasers or whatever

but nothing better than seeing how they make drums and cymbals
