yeah working on your lats give you the v shape best excersise for that is wide grip pull ups and or pull ups in general ( wide works better ) and another is the lat pull down which vic just showed... so just pull ups and lat pull downs is all you need and the v shape will come good luck

not necissarily worse but if u do you tend to use other muscles...i'd say go chin and hold for a sec
