  • can i play BattleField 3 or MW3

  • @xSnipErxInTeRVeNTiOn Yeah you can play both, I have this card and I play BF3 on high settings with no trouble.

  • THESE RESULT IS HIGHLY OUTDATED CAUSE OF DRIVER

  • How do you think dual 5770 will compete against other graphic cards? Is it better than gtx 560 or 570? :D Hope you answer quickly :D

  • @Zerekeh The GTX 560 and 570 will run circles around the poor little 5770 (Unless they are bottlenecked REALLY badly). The 5770 is a budget card that can play most games at good framerates while the GTX 560 and 570 are designed to obliterate any game put in their way. Hope that helps.

  • @Replican815 That's unfair though because the GTX 560 is two years newer. AMDs new competitor of the same price range is the 6870, which "runs circles around the 560."

  • @ATLMember Actually, the GTX 560 and 6870 are about equal if the 6870 isn't just a bit better. The GTX 560 and Radeon 6870 are made for gaming, and so is the 5770, but my point is that the GTX 560 and 570 are far more powerful than the 5770 since the Radeon 5770 is a budget card, not something overly powerful.

  • @Replican The 6870 is a lot better than the 560 for one, but my point is that the 5770 and the 6870 are the same type of card, just one is AMDs newer version, they switched their system, now the 6900 are the high end and the 6800 the mid/high end. In the 5000 series the 5800 were the high end, while the 5700 were the mid. So my point is that the 6870 is the successor to the 5770, so if you're going to compare, those cards are the modern comparison, you should compare a GTX 260 or 460 to a 5770.

  • Comment removed

  • @ATLMember I'm pretty sure the 6770 is the successor of the 5770.

  • @Replican815 sorry to break it to you but ATL is partially right, a lot of people say 6870 is succesor to 5770 but I think the 6850 is the succesor the 5770, AMD did change their numbering system.

  • @megamindstorm101 Okay, I just figured that the 6870 was way too fast to be the direct successor of the 5770. Comparing the 5770 and 6870 would be like comparing the GTX 460 and GTX 550 ti, respectively- both are fast cards, it's just that the 550 falls right in the middle, whereas the 460 is upper-middle class.

  • @Replican815 nonono see the 6870 IS indeed much faster than 5770 however they dont number it based on the exact performance of the previous. like just looking at the top cards the 5770 5850 and 5870 the 6870 would be succesor to 5770 and the 6950 would be 5850 and 6970 is replacing 5870...its a newer card so it is expected that it performs much better.

and amd just screwed up their naming system when they changed their name from ati to amd they thought it would be funny to mess with us or somt

  • @megamindstorm101 I'll just say "I agree" because I can't even follow or understand this conversation anymore.

  • I had gotten an XFX 5770...i never got a crossfire cable :(

  • @QuickScopingGodzz not really. You might wanna upgrade your processor and ram to Atleast 4gb. With the specs you have now should run at medium to low settings.

  • Can these two be Crossfired together ? I have one 5750 and 5770 so:P Please answer

  • @BreatheHardest bit late but yes

  • Which is better? Can't decide hard drives

Western Digital Caviar Green 750gb Intellipower with 64mb cache. for $50

    - Or -

Western Digital Caviar Blue 500gb (7200rpm) with 16mb cache for $40

    I think intellipower is 5400-7200?

Dont judge based on the memory. Please anwser im trying to cut the price down so i can manage to get the 6850 in still less than $600 at $591 with complete build right now.

  • @mast3rmgl Caviar Blue. Even though it's got a smaller cache the spin speed is faster and reading and writing speeds are faster.

  • @ILiveForMusic11 thanks

  • Sapphire is better than asus or what is the best brand for video card?

  • hey people, ive just got a sapphire radeon hd 5770 and i am unable to overclock it any further...is it possible that my 350 watt dell psu is holding me back from fully overclocking the gpu?

  • @japorms318 Yes, you need at least a 600W to run the 5770 overclocked. 350W is way below the requirement to run the card in the first place. The minimum is 500W to use it.

  • @japorms318 Woooaaahhhh surprised your pc hasn't blown up...

  • i cant belive that i bough the worst series of ati

  • both sucks

  • This isn't a review, it's a fucking commercial.

  • Can I run Radeon HD5770 VAPOR-X with a power supply of 450w?

  • @TomsteurhToast give me about a week, and I can tell you for sure. I have the Sapphire 5770 coming in the mail with my new pc. Though from what I read, you should be fine.

  • @JustAnotherError I have him now and I say: Works Perfect with my 450w! =D

  • @TomsteurhToast Good to hear! :) Still waiting on mine in the mail. So far they only shipped the tower/psu.

  • GeForce GTX 460 is a far better choice than the 5770....

  • I wouldn't recommend a Sapphire ATI RADEON HD 5770 I have two crossfired and even when they aren't they flicker like mad, everywhere I've read it's a common issue ATI fucked up on these cards altogether, there are some that work and a lot that don't I got screwed with two, thought it was my monitor.

  • @DarkR27 i never had any problems with mine =S

  • @basbas63 I really don't know if it's the monitor or videocards but this computer in both OS I have flickers randomly and every game I play have tears in the screen, V-sync does nothing, cord changed even still does it (crossfire cord) and (monitor cords), no solutions on line relating to this problem I can see. Turning crossfireX off change nothing too, haven't solved this issue.

  • @DarkR27 Do you have another pc screen in your home? you might want to try it out on an different screen.

  • @basbas63 Lol I know I should have done that before reinstalling old drivers and fooling with Windows, games and crap. Doing that today, damn thing is flickering now, doesn't look monitor related though, but none the less would be a good idea duh me watch it be that man so much wasted time!

  • @basbas63 Solved it but I figured out it's drivers, I had to get the D3Doverride program to force V-sync now it no longer tears in Metro 2033, Silent Hill 3, The Sims 2 & more. Game V-syncs & ATI's forced V-syncs did nothing but now every game works. Damn bull though ATI has to solve their issues although they never seem to fix up their drivers had issues with my last card from them with driver problems. I have weird other problems but they happen randomly and only once at a time on the desktop.

  • @DarkR27 Well, i had problems with random freezes in windows, not while gaming but since an driver update it is solved, ati isn't the best with drivers with cards in this price range... but nice that you got everything solved =)

  • Guys can some one help me out. I have an inspiron 530 and i want to upgrade it, does anyone know what route i should take? I have no idea about computers. It is a desktop running windows 7.

  • i wouldn't need that.

I can run crysis on my underclocked ipod touch without problems

  • Are video cards in iMacs any different from pc?

  • Is the 5770 worth the extra money? I know that there isn't a major price difference but is it worth the boost in performance?

  • @13tynman

Sure, a 5770 can be as cheap as $115. Worth every penny.

  • hey i have a question. lets say there is a ATX radeon hd 5770 and a sapphire radeon hd 5770 and ATI radeon hd 5770 . does it matter what brand i buy? cause its a 5770 with all the same specs as the ati version exept its a diffrent brand.....do i have to worry about this?

  • I didn't get Dirt 2:( Also my cooler is ugly egg formed shit Though it's not as much as 5750's. But rather just a plastic egg formed cover.

  • Comment removed

  • Will the 5750 run on a 400W PSU? It's an FSP Group one.

  • Why does everyone on Youtube act like you need to play on max settings?

I'll be fine on lowest settings with good framerate.

  • @VideoGameExplorers

If they're willing to spend some cash on a card, they want great settings.

  • @VideoGameExplorers lowest settings look like garbage dude

  • @JOJOPOTATOE77 On a lot of games, yes.

I have a 5770, and most of my games run perfectly, 60fps on highest or close to highest settings.

  • @VideoGameExplorers nice I almost got that card awhile back but went with the hd 5670 haha. Im thinking of getting the 6770 now

  • @JOJOPOTATOE77 Nice upgrade, I'll get a new ideo card sometime down the road, maybe around this fall.

  • hello, can someone tell me, will this be ok in my PC

i have quad core and 4 gb ram :)

  • @Rookielol i dont have enough information, but it would probably fit in your machine

  • This card is a shit fest. I had problems with the 5750 ight from the start. TERRIBLE fps in lots of games, not the power it should have. I switched from it to the 5770, fps was a little better so I just went with it. Six months later the cards display drivers have messed up and there is no solution online about how to fix it. Screw ATI, your cards have always blown. I will buy NVidia from now on.

  • is this card compatible with windows xp?

  • @MrRusty316 yes

  • so which is beta?

  • this could run 4 screens right

  • hey

    1) Whats whts this card VS Nvidia Gts8800 (2007) in win7 rating

    2) will i be able to play bbc2 on highest

    3) is it good

  • @karolschultz 1

1: It is better let say about 25% depending on the game but i can't say anything about the win7 rating but don't care about that.

2: Or you will be able to play bbc2 on max settings also depends of the rest of your system.

3: It is a good card i use it and i can play al my games on very nice settings with nice fps.

If you give me the rest of your system's specs i can make a prediction on how well it is going to run.

  • @basbas63 well thank you for reply, currently im having an old AMD athlon x2 64 but will however change my system soon to a AMD phenon II quad core blackedition with a usb3 + sata3 motherboard and 4 gigs of kingstone hyperx ram? :)

however i might maybe have a ATI 5800 series card instead- the price of my new system with the 5800 will be about 450 euro :)

  • @karolschultz Sounds great, the 5800 series cards are really really fast and a amd phenom II is a beast, i personally have a amd athlon II x4 620 4gb ddr2 800mhz ram and the HD 5770.

  • @MinttyDizzy Yes

  • CAN IT PLAY PONG!!!

  • is this card used for laptops ?

  • @enius16

    5870m is a little weaker than 5770.

  • WHY IS HE SAYING THEM BACKWARDS? 3:59

  • @drago433 it gets confusing

  • Total FAIL review. Absolutely no information in here that I couldnt get of the box !!! Presenter is old and fat and cant even pronounce certain english words and the background music which i guess was trying to make him sound sharp makes him look like an old turn thats trying to keep up with the kids. What a useless tosser.

  • LoL. i was actually expecting a real review but this isnt that, this is pure crap :D This is just listing of features...

  • does this support pixel shader 2.0 or 3.0?

  • @MyGameCollection

    5.0

    It's 100% backwards compatible too.

  • @Usul573 holy sheet!

i didn't even know this level existed!

Is this card worth buying? Like can it play crysis on medium or higher?

oh and whats the difference between Sapphire radeon 5770, powercolor radeon 5770 or the original 5770?

    and should i get 5770 or 5750?

  • @MyGameCollection

Yes, DirectX11 and shader model 5.0 is the newest technology.

That doesn't tell you anything about how powerful the card is though, the 5450 is very weak but supports that.

As for the 5750 1GB and 5770 1GB, they can probably both play Crysis and Crysis Warhead at 1920x1080 and "high" settings, with no AA, Crysis has "very high" settings and you can enable AA, so it can get even tougher than that.

  • @Usul573

But, for $180 now, you can get a 6850 1GB, which is much more powerful than the 5770. For $240 there's the 6870 1GB which is even better, I'd go for one of those, and don't forget about Nvidia either.

The 5750 1GB is about $120 and 5770 about $150. I'd say 6850 is the best deal, your call though.

  • @Usul573 Okay actually i won't play Crysis i just use it to level the power of GPUs

but if both are similar then which should i get?

  • @MyGameCollection

level the power of GPUs? what?

Well if you're choosing between 5750 and 5770, 5770 of course, it's a good card, try any game out on it.

  • @Usul573 I mean like i ask about crysis like "can this card play crysis on blahblah"

anyway what motherboard and processor do you recommend with this card?

i want a not-so expensive gaming set, processor should be on 3.2 ghz that would be nice

  • @MyGameCollection

Sorry it took so long to reply.

CPU and motherboard hard to say.

500 watt PSU should be good for a 5770, it's energy efficient. If you can get 750 watt that would be better though.

CPU wise.....I don't know if you want to use Intel or AMD.

I prefer Intel, some people would say to get a Core i5-750 and overclock if you want more, I think a few games actually do like Core i7 more though.

Even at stock the Core i5-750 can outrun a 3.5 GHz Quad core. Core i7-950 is $295 now.

  • @Usul573

Best quad core you can pay for is basically what you want to get, the six core processors I don't think help in games at all. Intel has a bunch of new quad cores coming January 5th also. Maybe taking a look at Anatech's pretty new article looking at AMD processors, and they compare the Core i5-750 to them all.

  • dang, that 4890 is BEAST!!!

  • thumbs up if u think he pointed wrong when showing the exact graphic card .. :D

  • how many inches is the 5770 and 5750??

  • 14 people are Nvidia fans :D

  • i can run all games i have ati 5750 his icooler 4,RAM 4gb,intel core2due 2.93

    this card rocks

  • it can play minecraft real good rite

  • i got a 5750 and can play all game on max WITHOUT gta4 -.- for my fcking low CPU

  • scary..the mic dissapears on the blue backround xD

  • i have 5770 i all new games can run on maximum settings without any problems ! It's amazing Card ... and it will be utill some other "UBERSONIC" Tehno ... replace it -_-

  • Powersupply requerments? 1000 wats? :S

  • I have a Video card called the Chuck Norris. It can play Crysis Maxed out at Over 9000 Frames per a second.

  • @IsaiahAllen03 they just came out with a Chuck Norris 2.0 and and it can play games from the future at over 9001 fps

  • @IsaiahAllen03 Abbreviated to the Video card "CN-1" and it does not support SLI. There can only be one Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris is not on your Motherboard. Your Motherboard is ON Chuck Norris.

  • @IsaiahAllen03 But can it play GTA4 with the fog removed?

  • @IsaiahAllen03 your brain would explode

  • @IsaiahAllen03 i think u miss spelled 9000000000000000 times..

  • @IsaiahAllen03 ITS OVER 9000!!!!

  • @IsaiahAllen03 crisis 2 isnt that hard of a game to run is it? chuck norris should run it at 1,000,000,000 fps :L get ur facts straight

  • I like how the dude points at the wrong vid card. TWICE =)))

  • 3:58 FAIL xD

  • Im pretty sure the 5750 is my graphics card, but can it play crysis on enthusiast settings? They say its a extremely demanding game but has some amazing visuals.

  • @novaleafy

Just install it or download the demo and check it out, we can't say for sure how your system will handle a game. 5750 is a solid card.

  • @Usul573

...though I don't think it can handle Crysis on enthusiast, it's a huge pain that takes way more graphics power to do than it should.

  • @Usul573 my 5770 can handle warhead all enthusiast 1440x900 with 20-40 fps no problem.

  • Crysis Warhead is better optimzied, still that's good.

I always think of 1080p and 4xAA when someone wants to play it though.

  • Heavy is spy!

  • can 500w run radeon 5750?

  • @rob1nthek1ng

Both 5750 and 5770 say they need 450 watts.

  • @rob1nthek1ng ok thanks :D

  • this review sucks my balls

  • what do i get! the 5770 or the 5830? i can only afford the 955 phenom II x4 black edition..whats best with it? people say 5830 is a teeny bit better but is sort of a waste of money cause you can overclock your card to function like a 5830. is that true?

  • Comment removed

  • @Usul573 i decided on the gtx 460 evga sc. could i ask you a question? what m i saying...il ask anyways! when you have a 20 inch monitor, will it be able to play on 1680 resolutions? that was my minimum so im on a budget.

  • Comment removed

  • @andoi9292 5770

  • @andoi9292 yes, its a waste.

  • Jesus christ! pause much!

  • im gonna use a 400w corsair psu for this. is this enough (CustomPC Magazine used this set up for thier system)??

  • this isn't really even a review, just a reading of the back of the box

  • @xJakex77 yah , it is just that it is nice to hear someone who claims to know the market read them out so that someone can feel good before dropping 100+ on a product

  • excuse me the cross fire on the right of the cd what it do exactly? because i got it but my father dont know what it do

  • @slayer94QC It's for when you buy 2 of the cards and use them together.

  • i am getting 5770 so how many watts will my psu need

  • @Truber190 id recommend a 700 or 750 if you want to future proof it

  • @Truber190

It says 450 watts is required.

I'd get 600 watts or better though.

  • Thank god this card (5770) and my AMD Phenom 955 is compatible with OS X

  • New pc im going to build:

    - Motherboard: Asus M4N68T

    - Processor: AMD Phenom II 955

    - Case: Coolermaster Scout

    - Ram: Gskill 4GB 1333 NQ

    - Gfx Card: Sapphire 1GB HD5770

    - HDD: Segate sata 1tb

costs $900 all up just need to save for monitor its gonna rape.

  • but can it play tetris?

  • @gravitysucksXD haha

  • @gravitysucksXD Tetris is too hardcore for these cards.LOL

  • @gravitysucksXD are you insane?!!? you need at least EVGA XXL SupraHD Chuck Norris 12288MB gpu for tetris!

  • @gravitysucksXD lol you will probably get 5-10 fps if your lucky lol

  • @gravitysucksXD u can´t i try. appears a Fatal error, says: The Ati 5770 is to good to play that shit. XD

  • @gravitysucksXD that made my day xD

  • a lot of info there shame only has 128bit memory interface think ill stick with my gtx260 for now

  • 575o and 5770 is a good gaming playing crysis at 29-60FPS with gamer settings.

  • @meishongzai what about world of warcraft in hd

  • @jkw906koz sorry..i do not own that game. :(

  • In HD 5770 where no Dirt 2 D:

  • hahaha, he put his finger on 5750 and said its the 5770 and vice versa

  • is the HD5770 for for playing games like crysis and call of duty MW2 max????or is there a better card ????? is some one knows can you tell me

  • @brkila

There's ALWAYS a better card haha.

5770 for Crysis, not quite maxed.

Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, MW2, and so on no problem maxed.

It's a great card for $160 but there's 5850 and 5870 and GTX 470 and GTX 480 that are much more powerful, but also way more expensive.

  • @Usul573 thanks man

  • @Usul573 can 5850 play crysis maxed

  • @vgvgvg7412

    Maybe just about.

    It's Crysis though.

At 2560x1600 and maximum in games settings the 5850 is show to be at about 15 FPS. The GTX 470 is just about the same as the 5850 there. The 5870 and GTX 480 are at about 17-19 FPS, and the 5970 which is the most powerful card on the planet is at about 25 FPS. The 5850 is easily the cheapest out of all of these though. That's just their benchmark though.

  • @vgvgvg7412 omg of course

  • what means Sorg?

  • Hi,

i have a 350W-power supply, made by delta electronics....

do you think that my powersupply is powerful enough to feed this videocard....

    other modules in mein computer:

    Intel Q6600@2,4ghz

    2gb ram

    seagate barracuda 360gb

    19inches widescreen (samsung synchmaster 931bw)

    350watt (delta electronics)

    thx....

  • @Krustenkaese92 NO, at least 450w but i reccomend at least 550w PSU. your PSU is total garbage throw it in the bin.

  • @Krustenkaese92

    snag a 550 watt for $48.

  • @Krustenkaese92 no get one with 450 or more

  • did everyone realize that the background music is from Grand Turismo?

  • Hey guys i am deffinately getting one of these cards. But i am on a super strict budget. Which one should i get, the 5770 or the 5750. I am playing at a resolution of 1600 x 900

  • @saikimimaru

Either would be totally awesome at 1600x900 ha

Obviously lean towards the 5770 since it's better all around.

Maybe 70 FPS for the 5750 and 80 FPS for the 5770 at 1600x900 and MW2 maxed out, something like that.

  • ok iam really confused whats the differents then the Sapphire 100283-3L Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Card then the Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 you are showing me ????

  • @drakozero8 its basically the same card, the 3L, is a newer version, that comes equipped with 2 8mm heatpipe on the cooler, for better cooling.

  • Okay, I bought the 5770 for my computer that I built but it crashes (The card not the computer) all the time and I can't even play the simplest of games. Can anyone help?

  • @tehrealbinglebob Return it is clearly broken

  • @kilerlol Well now I can't because I've waited to long trying to figure out whats wrong with it. Its way past the 30 days...

  • @tehrealbinglebob only 30 days wtf your warranty shut bie muts longer. wel you got store and factory warranty and the factory warranty cant bie only 30 day's.if i were you i would still go back to the store and ask about it.
