2 - About the sound quality. Is is in fact bad. What you are hearing is the camera audio. This isn't a polished recording! As a matter of fact it wasn't meant to be released at all. We usually capture the video of our first few runs through a song when we're writing, so we can watch it back and make notes of what needs improvement.

This is us letting you watch a special recording of when we were writing this song, so take it for what it is. The album will be out soon with a much better sound!

Hey everyone, Thiago Campos from Bad Salad here. I just wanna clarify on a few questions you've been having:

1 - By 1st run through we mean that this was our first attempt at playing the entire song as a band. We work out the different sections, not necessarily in the order they happen (or with all isntruments), and then start playing bigger chunks, until we finally attempt it from start to finish with everyone at full volume, which is what we did here.

Great stuff! These are not Dream Theater covers. These are Bad Salad originals. Even Dream Theater did many covers when they started...especially Rush. Im sure if Youtube existed back in '85 Mike Portnoy would have uploaded many Majesty covers of Rush songs. Its all good. We see further because we sit on the shoulders of giants. These are our influences that lift us up. Nothing wrong with that.

@Bitchflakes666 What does "the Dream Theater sound" constitute, exactly? If the fact that Bad Salad is a five piece progressive metal band that makes dynamic, coherent and intelligent music is the parallel that people draw between the two, then how are you capable of finding fault with these guys?
