@gotchugotchu Pretty sure he has a point, although the car has too much torque whenever boost has built up, I bet you can't step fully on the gas judging on the vid I just saw, sway bars can help to stabilize the car and prevents understeer too, if you've already done that then you need Nitto semi-slicks at least. Why would you swap the engine out of ANY Silvia, and why would you choose a RB20 or RB25 or RB26?

Which one is more reliable? Best one fuel when stock standard?  Which is more expensive and would it be better off buying the cheapest one, and upgrading that engine for more power?

I'd like to know simple things if I was to carry on this idea with a s13 or s15 silvia, or a 180sx?

@mydogzty if your tryn to swap one dont go with the rb20 same displacment as an sr20 and no hp the rb25 is the most reliable and most readily available look online there every were now the rb26 is pretty expensive but nice and people love it and you can get made power out of it if your tryn to go BIGG then you go rb30 or 2jz or 1jz those motors will give you 500+ hp on stock internals and the sound krazy hope i helped

@KuShToKeR630 there aint nothing wrong with a rb20det they have a uniqely differnt sound from all the other rb's but i would recomend a 2jz anyday cheeper than a rb26 but the gearboxes are verry exspensive

Even if you did buy a 2JZ engine because its cheaper than a RB26, and you say "the gearbox is very expensive"......wouldn't it still work out the same price? They are dead-cheap, like under $3000 EASY.  But they are like 1987....so kinda old and will need work done to the body perhaps, also maybe a rebuild on the RB30 engine aswell.....search them

ok so i put drag radials on a few weeks ago for the track and there is no wheel spin as i said prior to this it was during cold season with 50psi street tires when the temp is cold the intercooler and intake act more efficiently and produce larger hp numbers increasing wheelspin on this pavement. I will ge a buddy to create a new video hopefully before season is out and u can properly understand the true power of this machine while there is no wheelspin. thanks.

I was tossing up between at GT3540 or a T04z. People have told me the T04z will spool up quicker & would be able to push more psi than the GT3540. But as you can see in this video the smaller A/R will produce quicker spool. But lack in high psi. Right?? Thinking I might use the T04z 1.00A/R.
