Film Director Rainer Loeser, under United Movietone Pictures continues to make WW2 Documentaries. He is filming 'Yanks In Townsville' In 1942, Townsville, became a garrison Town with more than 90,000 Americans stationed there. It was bombed by the Japanese over 3 nights in July 1942.

Three Australians who escaped by going over the wall were recaptured by the Japanese and executed.

Among the five women who were executed was a doctor and a nurse, their crime, helping the underground, film Director Rainer Loeser under United Movietone Pictures believes the women were betrayed by fellow internees. Before they died, they were tortured by the Japanese. Many more executions would follow.
