hello there i was wondering if you could show the inside of the jukebox as it is selection various songs to be played thank youand the jukebox looks and sounds great all the best
It looks like NSM took the design of the 1950's RCA 45 rpm record changer & modified it. As for the tone arm,it either was left as is or modified for a Seeburg/Pickering cartridge because a two sided NSM cartridge couldn't be found.
I have the same machine with the original cartridges, These cartridges you will find on the German Ebay because it is not a two sided cartridge but 2 single cartridges also used in German NOVA- Rock-ola machines. It's not easy but it's possible. By the way I should have used a newer NSM Merula cartridge from a Prestige modell what will look a lot nicer
I have got the nsm fanfare 100 stereo, but can't get anyone to repair it, they just say they don't want the hassle of that model. getting close to giving up with it. still, I think they are a lovely looking jukebox
It IS currently playing a B side. The tone arm is two sided and in the video it is playing the underside of the record. Notice the platter rotation, it is going the other way. There is a needle on top of the tone arm facing the other way. When the record drops down, it plays the A side in the normal way. Do a search for SEEBURG BACKGROUND MUSIC for a clearer picture of how a mechanism like this operates.
The mechanism looks very much like the Seeburg background music 1000 system - only they are 45's instead of 16 2/3 rpm records. I wonder if NSM copied them on this as well. Still a fascinating machine to watch and play!
You need to put in the title strips and looks like the title strip light is off. I have software that makes the title strips it's called "Jukebox titlestrip maker" you can make all kinds of interesting title strips with it.
why not this one has seeburg buttons from a 1954 "R" and look reel close at the cartrige at 2:49 Jasonlava is right it is the seeburg T stylus $75.00 a set
It's is build in 1959 till 1961 after this the Fanfare Silber came out 1n 1961 till 1963 and that was the last Fanfare model, Then The Serenade Stereo magic came in 1963 wich was build till 1966 because this was a very popular model,
Craziest jukebox I've ever seen.
