So yes, we have existed for a relatively short period of time since the galactic year cycle of our solar system began. I was trying to prove that; the upcoming 2012 event is just an ordinary cycle on a larger scale.
If there is a polar shift on or around 12/21/12 the magnetosphere will surely welcome whatever the sun's solar flares throw at us, I fear for a short time, the solar flares wil bombard us with radation ,the shift could draw the flares right to us like a magnet , there might not be any more Auroras light as they are pulled directly into the earth ,or it might be one big light show of radation as its welcome into our atmosphere, but who knows till then this is just my thoughts..
