one thing these reviews dont mention is reliability, if ur leasing for a year or two go with the a5, if ur buying dont ever buy a fuking audi, honestly italian cars are more reliable, if ur buying look for the 3 series coupe or hold off for c class coupe, or check for an e coupe certified used.......

@TRBelieve, 265horsepower? thats more money for less car. Im getting the ZL1 Camaro when it comes out. It should be running an LSA Engine so roughly 550 HP.

I'm 20, and I am considering an A5 as my next car (to be bought within 6months.) I'm considering these 4 cars; Camaro 2SS, Audi A5, Merc C300, or BMW 328xi. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

@TRBelieve you should get a used(or new depending on your looking price) bmw 6(: they are amazing cars, but if you can't get an Audi a5, definitely dont get the camaro they may look nice on the outside but their interior is horrible. merc c300 is nice but not as comparable to the mer cl63 and bmw 328xi would def be my strong second pick(excluding the 6) but Audi is the new more advance cars and have alot more buzz around the car. The A5 is a great car(: hope this helps

@Adubleyou Helps a lot, the problem is the BMW 645Li, 650, or M6 don't fit my style. I looked at the Camaro 2SS and is definitely out. I think the interior is the worst thing I've seen since the Corvette Z06. CL63 is the same problem as the BMW 6series. I've decided on a new 2010 Audi A5 APR Tuned with Twin Turbo, Weight reduction and S-Line body treatment.

I appreciate all the help. I'm glad my post actually got a response that was educated. It just came after I fell in love with th A5 APR.

@cyavash Great question, I am trying to figure that out myself, E550 is a new model by 2 yrs, and faster but a little on the stuffy side, S5 looks cool is awd, slightly better MPG and has a younger, more technologically advanced feel despite the fact that the E550 is actually the more advance car when it comes to the safety technology level, but??? I'm 28, well I'll be 29 by the time I buy, they are about the same price new or used. Oh, what a quandary?

I changed out all my speakers to JBLs and Kenwood (carbon kelvar) subs.. and its way better than B&O IMHO it aint enough to decide on a CAR coz of the speakers...we all know M3 speakers are shit cans with magnets smaller than my fridge magnets

@tkcwu It was not the only thing that helped me decide. My dad used to have a 3 series and did not have good experiences with it, and I had a q7 before the s5, so i already knew audi. Also, I like the quattro on the audi, i think it feels better than the rwd in the m3

@tp8520 When you compare a Japanese luxury car, compare it to another Japanese luxury car...German cars, in general, should be compared to themselves because of the following: they feel just so much more "solid", the suspension is unearthly, the torque is amazing, and the general quality feels exactely what you pay for. Compare this to a BMW 328Xi coupe, or a CLK350.

I test drove an a5 and the only thing that bugged me was that the sun roof doesnt fully retract...it just pops up....other than that its an amazing car

I have been fortunate enough to recently purchase an Audi S5 and would recommend it - absolute quality ! Though you may want to take into consideration the fuel consumption - because it's a thirsty little Monkey !

Tho I think our American friends pay alot less for fuel than us Uk Lemons (currently £1.09 per litre - approx).

get the a5 it is cheaper. if you are a rich man you can buy a s5 but with that kind of money you can get faster cars such as a 2008 bmw m3 with as 414 horse power or you can get a corvette

You're right, however it depends on how Audi chooses to spell it in the respective market. in Western Europe, common spelling of "Coupe" is "Coupé". and "Coupe" is said COOP, and "Coupé" is said COOP-AY as it's the French spelling.

the A5 competes with the 328i, not the 335i. the 335i would kill the A5 in terms of speed on the road. it has a twin turbo 300 hp engine vs. the A5 265 hp quattro. the A5 is still the better looking coupe though.

I agree completely. If you look at reviews of the M3 you'll find that NOTHING can touch it. It combines BMW luxury, and pretty much the best all around performance of any sport coupe or sedan. It's blazingly fast, and can track better than anything. It's perfectly balanced and its RWD layout combined with a perfectly tuned suspension makes it the ultimate sports coupe. Audi, Mercedes, Infinity, Lexus, are all trying to dethrone it, but to no avail so far...We'll have to wait till the RS5 to see.
