When pac-hat happened, they were only trying to market pac as #1p4p just so they could make hat look sensational against a paper p4p champ (pacquiao) to build up the hat-may fight that was supposed to happen next.
I loved watching Ricky and i still think he was one of the best of his era. But i can't help thinking that his lifestyle out of the ring was a major factor in both of his losses as ballooning in between fights eventually caught up with him.
Man, I really didn't realize what a murderous body puncher Hatton was in his early days. When he showed up on our shores, I was quite impressed by the body shot he put on Castillo, and he had the rep of being the best (or second best behind Cotto) body puncher in the sport. However, since then, that status kind of went away, so I figured it was just a knee jerk reaction to a spectacular knockout. Apparently not the case. That was a fun watch... Sky did a really good job with that highlight.

In terms of boxing the only thing Hatton never achieved was the p4p title and even then at one stage he was ranked #4 by the ring.. after the pacquiao fight, hatton himself said he "fancied his chance against pacquiao". Hatton thought he was going to run over pacquiao and he completely underestimated him. Hatton thought he would dominate, just watch the fite, hat had no respect for pac at all in those 2 rounds. When pac-hat happened, they were only trying to market pac as #1p4p just so they could make hat look sensational against a paper p4p champ (pacquiao) to build up the hat-may fight that was supposed to happen next.

Man, I really didn't realize what a murderous body puncher Hatton was in his early days. When he showed up on our shores, I was quite impressed by the body shot he put on Castillo, and he had the rep of being the best (or second best behind Cotto) body puncher in the sport. However, since then, that status kind of went away, so I figured it was just a knee jerk reaction to a spectacular knockout. Apparently not the case. That was a fun watch... Sky did a really good job with that highlight.

Tszyu was just as sharp as ever so don't give me that bullshit. After the fight you all said he was washed up, the reality is that he was the heavy favourite and he won rounds 3,4,5,6 and 7.

At the time Hatton was unbeaten and that was the fight all the fans wanted to see.
