it is sad. the zoo i work in the enclosure is too small. we can only house the female ones since the males are way to agressive. and our zoo was built in the late 1800s -_- so we have a house that looks like a circus with ancient bars and a foot lock for the elephants. its sad.

I watched a show about an elephant in Hawaii that broke free, critically injured its owner and crushed a police car by stepping on it. The owner lived but the officer was killed instantly.

I'm a Paramedic, and we're always watching videos of critical incidents. We also saw a leopard attack a zoo trainer.

The elephant incident happened at a circus that was in Hawaii. Everybody claims they have no idea why the elephant 'went mad.'

After watching that incident, I'm a little afraid of elephants.

the elephants are suffering from a lot of abuse and sometimes they lose control after so much abuse. So I don't blame the elephants but the trainers in this circuses. In fact some innocent people were injured as well. Elephants belong in the wild and not in urban inhumane environment. peace
