Deszon X. Claiborne on drums, Babatunde Lea on percussion, Ron Belcher on bass, Glen Pearson on piano, Richard Howell tenor sax to the right of John Handy... unfortunately I don't know the two guys behind John. Bay Area cats! Yeah!
John Handy's performance of Spainish Lady at the Monteray Jazz Festival in the 60's is considered by me and many others as the greatest jazz live performance ever. If you have not heard it, your musical life will be meaningless.
I had the pleasure of playing with Kenny in the navy band in Japan and he was, is & always will be one of the most talented musicians that I've had the chance to work with in my life! I still have a tape of him singing "A Touch of Your Love" that will send chills up & down your spine. I love him to death! Respect to K-Money!
Why is there so little posted of Kenny's singing? He is a great singer! There should be a lot more of him on Youtube.

I had the great fortune to share a vocal gig with the great Kenny Washington. Those recordings are my most treasured musical moments.
