@BoaFanMade its obvious they were lip synching why dont you check out 2:52 and then compare it to other performances. and besides they could've had many reasons for not singing live, maybe they needed to rest their vocal chords, perhaps their english isnt cleaned up enough for them to sing live? Im a fan of snsd and i have no problem saying the didnt sing live, mariah carey, celine dion, MJ all lipsync sometimes accept it, dont deny it. It makes it seem some sones are stubborn

In concerts the only time they lipsync is when they use the hands free mics (like in the video), because they have to dance and everything else. but when the use the hand mics they sing live. they do it a lot. it's too identical to the original track for them to sing live and dance like that, not saying they can't but just being realistic. but in the end who cares. i wish i was there.

u can see, they tried to do more and better on dancing to offset the truth of lip syncing.

in my opinion, sm treat this show very importantly and dont wanna make mistakes. Also, they r not just performing this song, and their stamina is limited. To just protecting them, it will be better to lip sync in this show.

But frankly, i really want to watch a real live of the boys in english version ~.~

I also had to record parts of her later performances with my phone (hence worse quality) b/c my camera ran out of batteries. @Sunnyssi I'm not an anti fan but they lipsynced. If they sing live, Taeyeon will not be able to spin at 2:52. Check the performances on Music Back, Music Core and inkigayo, you will see how she sang that part.

If you are a real SONE you have to accept that. We all know they can sing but for some reasons they didn't sing live in this performance.

especially since the effects on these vocals can't be duplicated with real time FX. its on very advanced settings with Octaver , harmonizer and vocoder layering.

We know they can sing live and as long as they did most of it its all good. U know that MJ lipsyncs some of his parts when he's tired? And he's the golden standard.

@takeitx2 I don't get why people are upset about lip syncing anyway. They're giving them the audio their audience wants to hear, yet that raises the question of their actual talent. Yet when they sing live without syncing people complain how it sounds too different. They're giving fans what they want to hear.

Really, there's no doubt of SNSDs skill, so why care if it's synced? It's hard to sing and dance at the same time because your breaths while dancing come at different times than singing.
