The 50th anniversary V&M Honda CBR1200 Super Blackbird still makes lunch still out of a Busa and a ZZR1400..until 18mths ago it was the fastest and most powerful production bike and held the honour for nigh on a decade..I think I've seen just one in the States, imported from the UK. Ok, those sports tourers can get up there quickly, the RC8R is more than quick and the S1000RR can also give them more than a run for their money in the more nimble sports category..
BUT there is a car that can beat the lot of them AND a Bugatti Veyron to 100mph, in fact 0-100 is under 5.5secs..if you get the chance, coax \ cajole or even threaten the guy lol but you must get a dealer let you test drive a tiny Ariel Atom 500hp V8..an absolute masterpiece, a bikers dream car with all the fun of the bike and at under $40k you could buy FORTY of them for the price of one Bugatti and still have $100k in change...

kawasaki`s shape is not eyes cacthing and look old models not elegant at all , more heavy and bad ending,not smooth shape at paint ot body, steering angel is bad ,can do good speed at turnig. the exhaust is old shape too ,the speed meter an instrument is so old make us boring to see it.. its fail produck like ashole from japan stupid enginer.. How the can make a good motor bike if still cannot make a simple an exhaust?? its bull shit..!!
When I made this video years ago, the Kaw was not King; however, the new 2012 ZX14 is truly powerful. No comparison to a Gen 1 Busa, That new Kaw will beat nearly anything out. Gen 1 Busas were ok back in the day but my 2007 GSXR 1K would kill my Busa. I run faster on motor than I would with a small shot of Nitrous on the Busa,
@lgarvey1979 I am for familiar with the ZX and BMW. They are both fast for 1000cc engines but the BMW has been getting it at the local track here. Bone stock motor with 200lbs suited riders going 5.7s @132 mph with a pipe, lowered, extended, etc...

@cub67 Ok I believe you, no problem, Zx10-R is a very fast machine to... I've had a Busa until last morning, but I've sold it, it's very too fast for the road..... Now I'm riding a 98 V-max, It's my second V-max, I think it's the coolest and funiest Bike ever on the road, you never get bored with a V-max.
@leslieandchad You will not find a Zx14 here in tulsa or within a few hours drive that will touch any of the hayabusa's we have here. Tulsa Speedway is ruled by the mighty suzuki!

the best I have ran on my 14 is 6.23 and I suck, smokinzx14 though I believe has ran 5.50 on his with a bone stock motor, it has the norman suspension mods though

My tuner, a Pro Drag Racer, on the only run with my 14, front wheel didn't come down till half track, and he still ran a 9.99 @147mph, and all I have is a PCIII, K&N filter, and Muzzy slip-ons...Bike is factory stock other than that, with the wheel down it will push 9.7s all day...so your claim is bull...

I said the motor is stock as in no cams, porting, higher compression etc.. Smokinzx14 is the driver and I will fill your inbox with his vids. You will also have some links to ZX14.com. A forum that he is a regular. I have ran 9.64 on my bike and Vince Woska with one pass ran 9.50 on it.
