  • How John would you recommend getting a Stihl bg 55?

  • @Rarrin9378

    yes

  • @Jon3800 I took your advice and got one, Great machine!

  • @Rarrin9378 yes and convert it to electric mine is awsome and quiet

  • @Dorisequador Why would I want to downgrade it to electric? I hate electric plus I know everything there is to repairing gas engines so why bother?

  • @Rarrin9378 ah but electric coming out in 2011 blows away the gaz ones..

They use brush motors that run 10,000 to 15,000 rpm.

Gaz runs 7000rpm to 8200 rpm. and cranking suxs plus paying for gaz and oil mix.

  • @Dorisequador I don't mix my gas my blower goes 12,000 rpm's and I take damn good care of my engines I hate electric for the cords and the batterys suck when there cordless machines.i just love loud high revving polluting 2 cycles anyways lol

  • @Rarrin9378 Back pak does 13,000rpm hand held does 7000 to 8200 rpm. Stihl

    Enjoy the gaz fumes hahahahaa

  • @Dorisequador I love the gas fumes I love small engines everything about them that thing tears up the dirt its powerful plus I hate the annoying buzzing sounds those shitty ass electric blower makes. There probably not durable by any means

  • @Dorisequador The gas I buy comes premixed it has no ethanol alchohol and its premium oil and gas and its stabilized to last for 2 years and it makes no smoke and smells not one bit when the machine is running.

  • @Rarrin9378 My aim was at marketing at resorts and inside factories to cleanup without admitions.. all electric.

  • @Dorisequador See now thats when there good machines but I use mine for storm clean up in my back yard and I have my Stihl trimmer that is gas powered I use them all outside for doing my aunt's house and some neighbor's they are very durable powerful machine for moving tough stuff.

  • @Rarrin9378 Oh I agree but I took al my stihl trimmer pro and my stihl pakpak and hand held blower and put and lectric brush motor and Lithium power paks.. they are just as strong and fast with no money to spend on feul.

  • @Dorisequador Personally I don't mind money on fuel it's very efficient so one can which is like 42 ounces lasts me 2 months and thats only about 3 bucks a can so I think that's cheaper than charging a battery where I live the electricity is outrageous here lol

  • i love the way the blower sonds

  • Hey Jon, how are you sir? Does the stihl bg 55 have the ability to vacumm? If not, which stihl blower can. My homelite blower broke today as the carb cracked after 19 years of use by my father, then me. anyway, thanks for all your videos jon. keep em" coming!

  • @Mightylite94

Go for like a SH 56 or 86. BG 55 is a blower only

  • i have a 1985 weedeater brand weedeater made by echo for weedeater.cranks in 3 pulls

  • let's see a video :)

  • i just love the sound of 2 stroke leaf blowers!

  • mine was 169 but 179 with tax

  • does this hold up well?????

i want a good one but low price....i looked at walmart and the weed eaters a lot of people on you tube say they not that good!!! the reviews on the polans are not good either....

  • Oh yes, is the best hand held blower you can have. Starts up and fires up easily

Weed eater and Poulan are essentially the same company Poulan is the "yellow" version of Weed eater. and the people are right. Its an okay brand but certainly not the best and they can be a bitch to start

  • thanks!!!!

  • no probs

  • cool. could you do a vid of filling your car up with petrol.

  • ya, whenever it gets around 1/4 sure

  • Nice blower Jon. I haven't touched a broom since I bought my Echo blower. It gets the job done alot quicker than sweeping.

  • yup, I agree

  • wanna sell the weed eater blower

  • it doesn't work anymore

  • hey nice blower and really nice car too you can't kill a 3800 V6

  • yup, especially supercharged ones :)

  • how much horsepower does it have with the super charger

  • GM under-rates 3800 series 2 supercharged engines 240hp. The true horsepower is like 260.

I have about 265-270hp (addition of the air intake system). It has around 340 lbs ft of torque

  • hey you game me FT lbs of tourq and horse power rating and not like that wierd stuff that I for got like KW or something like that for HP I don't remember

  • 265hp is like 197 kW of power

  • it's midnite at your house isn't it

  • yes

  • it's only 9:25 here in washington state and it's still barley daylight.

  • kool

  • so the leaf blower has the same engine as your stihl weedeater

  • yes

  • have you had a chance to do the rope thing on the weedeater

  • what did you want me to do again, keep pulling it?

  • pulling the rope really fast like giving it a jap for a pull to see if it will catch

  • check out the discription!!

  • glad you picked up that blower jon! your gonna love it! congrats on 1000 + subbs too =D

  • I already love it :)

  • agreed, it is the best hand held blower around

  • yup ;)

  • Very nice, Jon...I guess you're back in the lawncare business now since I'm sure the grass is growing! The Olds sounds as quiet as ever!
