He was a very hard puncher but not in the top hardest punchers meaning you can't mention his name with Foreman, Liston or Cleveland Williams when talking about one punch power. Tyson had explosive power with speed, accuracy and the snapping type technique. All these rolled into one make the ultimate fighter: Speed, Power, Accuracy, head movement, footwork and snapping punch technique. Tyson had all these traits.

Tyson was taught an all offensive style. Even evading punches, was merely to move so to deliver the next punch. A machine that is focused on the places it knows will bring the opponent down. It doesnt matter to him who the opponent is, how he fights, what his size is. He moves in immediately to deliver the punches to those designated places he memorized as points of destination for his punches. He simply became distracted by ppl. who manipulated his emotions, making him puddy in their hands.
