Adding "Gate" to the end of a scandal was a way of making the original "Watergate" scandal less meaningful, attaching "Gate" to the end of a scandal now makes it look like "oh its just another scandal" instead of giving it the actual level of severity it deserves.

Just watched hearing on Solyndra and Sec DOE.

Waxman is trying to cover up the criminal acts of the DOE Sec and interfering with the the questions that point to the Obama WH and Democrats being involved in the Solyndra load.

They allowed the American tax payer to be subordinate for payback in case of bankruptcy.

Crimes were committed by Obama and Waxman in the loan going to Solyndra and American tax payers have lost 1/2 billion.

I dont like Ilya too much. He doesnt have a sense of humor, slower than slow to the draw when things are thrown at him most of the interview, but the worst and actually important thing is, he is talking like just another politician.

He has talking points hes stuck on, and he wont let the interviewer get him off of them.

He sounded so wooden this whole time.

Sometimes he sounded good, but thats easy to do.

I have every reason to be cynical against him, not that hes in my district/state.

I'm not sure who you thought was saying "fuck off" but I don't think either of them did. I think the joke went over his head, and he shrugged it off and chose to move on.
