I hate the Boba Fett back story from Episode II, so unnecessary and lame.

@debusen81 I don't really HATE it, but I agree. I think the only reason Lucas put it in there was to try to make up for "killing" him in the original trilogy. I have heard that Lucas said if he knew how much of a cult following Fett would have, he wouldn't have killed him off.

@Raziel117 i dont think he would have expected so many people to like boba fett because he was a minor character. idk if i would event consider him to be a secondary character. he doesnt have many lines and only appears briefly in the scenes he's in. even in ROTJ he barely says anything and they kill him off in the beginning. He probably thought that by having the back story in AOTC he would give them a new Boba fett and that was Jango. i like jango fett much better personally

I think Boba Fett, on my opinion is the best villian in Starwars because, there seems to be a lot of mystery in his character throughout the film. He rarely talks and when he does its always dark and mischevious in a way. He certaimly has my vote as greatest villian!

Yeah In one of the spinoffs (you have to excuse me if I'm wrong cause I haven't read this stuff for a while), Boba Actually kills a bunch of Jedi, and even fights Vader with a Light saber. Actually I think i remember someone made a fan video of it and put it on here. I'll see if I can find it.

I think Boba Fett was a cool character and was glad to see his role expanded so much (well, his father's) in the new movie, but I doubt Boba Fett would have lasted very long against Darth Vader. He may have killed Jedi in the past, but this is the one with the most powerful dark force, other than the Emporer. Boba would've gone down fast if he didn't keep away from Vader (who could have strangled him anyway right through his armor, at a distance...)

Nah Boba Fett and Vader got into it during a bounty hunt before ANH. They roughed each other up. Fett even managed to shoot Vader in the head. In the end it was a draw.

I met him today. Jeremy Bulloch, he was at the national space center for a sci fi weekend. All I can say is what a guy, he is a true gentleman. We talked about loads of stuff and I got an autograph, my love for the Fett has now increased tenfold.

I have the book "Star Wars: Tales Of The Bounty Hunters". In it there are 5 stories. One about IG-88, one for Dengar, one for Bossk, one for Zuckuss and 4-LOM, and one for Boba Fett. In Fett's story he talks about how he survived. But Lucas supports his death.
