It is wrong for Glenn Beck to single out Hillary for advocating a troop pullout. She is certainly not the only Senator who voted for the authorization of force and now wants a troop pullout.

So... because of that particular problem with Norway's system socialized medicine is on the whole entirely bad? Of course, it's not perfect. I just think it's a whole lot better the one we have now with Drug and Insurance Companies running it. It needs to be fixed, and whether you call it socialized, democratized, populized or excellciorized we need to be more open to ideas and lifestyles that we may not be accustomed to.

These are different things though. Lack of government intervention is what causes these insurance companies to take control. It's a serious problem that doesn't necessarily set a precedent for every single other policy in this country. Besides, the only thing I can think of about the technology sector is the advancements in military apparati or frivolous shit like the iPhone. It's not really comparable to something that effects your health and your family's.

quixoto, this is actually not correct. It was government intervention in the 60s (Johnson's Great Society) that introduced the beginning of government healthcare. Hospitals and doctors began charging more for their services to get more from the government, because the charges were paid without scrutiny. Individuals not qualifying for the government care began to struggle with paying their medicals bills, thus began the need for supplemental insurance policies.
