Wow, it's better than on the album, however if I were to cover it whistling while I used my armpit to do the bass, it'd be better than the original as well.

Remember when they split?

I do. it really hurt. But now that I have grown up and analized the whole axl slash thing. It still hurts. Especially when i listen to them playing together. What most people aren't seiing in the whole situation is the "TRUTH" .

Them as a team was the magic. Not slash not AXL. it was the both of them.

But what alot of people don't know unless youare a early GNR fan is that axl is a very private person and slash 's father is a very powerfull and promenent JEW!!!

So despite Slash's positive outlook and calm character, behind the scenes he might have held back Axl/GNR from accomplishing its goals after he left, specially the release of Chinese Democracy. GNR recorded more about 3 albums worth of material in the time they were away.

and it wasnt 20 years- it was 11 years

(1997-2008) with an extensive tour in 2006/07 as well.

According to Marc Canter (who, yes, I know, may not be the best, most official source on GNR known, but he's one of the few that are speaking up), th album was only actually recorded in about three years. He (not the best source, I know) says that much of the process was putting a band together and legal issues.
