nice, also add a button, call it browser and add the code:

OpenFileDialog1.ShowDialog()

TextBox1.Text = OpenFileDialog1.FileName

bit more user friendly :)

Hey, I was having the same problem. In the line above that where it dim's the location value. Change it to this:

Dim Location As String = CurDir() & "\CurrentWallpaper.Bmp"

It should work then. Well it worked for me after I changed that.

@L3t1337 I think it only works in Vista or lower - I'm getting the same error on Windows 7. I've tried everything but it must be just how 7 sets the wallpaper.

you mean that it sets the wallpaper, from the form's background image? if so.
