Aw... you're just mad because you thought you were going to see girls in bikinis.
I am from an island, actually. My dad made it in our back yard pond. He made me live there for ten years because I broke his lawnmower. Houston, Samoa... is that like Paris, Texas?
You are correct. And your level of insight into all things musical is made keenly apparent by your precise and cutting commentary. I think you should apply for a position at Rolling Stones magazine. BTW - I visited your channel and discovered that you do not exist. I'm sure if you ever do upload a video it will have SOMETHING to do with a pitbull.
Actually, it is a very good song. I asked 100 people on the street, and they concure... it is a good song. I'm not sure where you are getting your information, but it must be wrong. Did you ask anyone else who was with you at the moment; your dog, perhaps? My parakeet and wombat both said it was a good song, too. With all this evidence to the contrary, I ask you to reconsider your erroneous conclusion. Maybe you meant you thought it was a song about the fish called "crappy". If so, wrong again!
If you think this is funny... go look at my Optical Illusion video, then read my responses to all the commentators (those which deserved to be sliced up). It's pretty funny stuff!
Hello Kris! Yeah, I love world music and look for ways to inject "flavor" into many of my recordings. Just the hint of an ethnic instrument can add so much feel to a song. Thanks for stopping by! ~Jon
I seem to recall you commenting that you were going to post some of your more experimental songs. If this is an example, then please post more. Loved it, 5 stars!
This was more inspirational than experimental, but I did take liberties in both areas. The structure is simplistic, just three repetitious phrases, but the orchestration (buried in the mono mix) was quite fun. It is very difficult rhyming "Girl" and "Boy" so many times and still making contextual sense! You'd think there would be more words in English to satisfy such a hackneyed set. Thanks, Telday!
Jon... ... ... WOW. As you can tell, i am absolutely speechless. This song is the story of my life. I love the atmosphere you've added to it, as well. My words are not worthy, Jon. Just... wow. 5 stars (i'll come back tomorrow and rate again) and fave'd. =)
Inspiration can come from the most unusual of places, even YT itself. I'm quite adept at reading between the lines; perhaps even fabricating between the lines! Remember; one part inspiration, ten, persperation - I think that was Edison. Glad to have touched a nerve, in a good way, I hope. Thank you, Koko!
i like it, it's chill, it's nice, i like islands, i like the pictures, it's ok thanks for posting :)
