It's called cold reading, yes anyone can learn how to do it. And more than that, you can be taught how to do it while being under the impression that it's a supernatural ability. Look up Derren Brown he's quite good at cold reading, and he explains how its done. But it's much harder to make money this way because people would rather believe in spirits.
