Kenseth should have been fined and suspended for a race after a move like that. If I didn't know better, I'd think Kenseth had something personal to settle.

Jeff Gordon didnt wreck Kenseth on purpose. Gordons car was too tight to run the bottom of the track, so now he has 2 options. Try to maintain the pace with Kenseth and hope he doesnt wreck, OR be slower on the bottom and hope Jr doesnt get into his bumper. That's alot of pressure to be dealt with in a few short seconds on a racetrack.

I thought the walls where "safer" and the COT was a "better" car,looks like the same political Nascar shit to me. I`m not the worlds biggest Gordon fan but NO driver needs a hit like that,I am a Jr fan-but his restart wasn`t the best either. Gordon,as myself is a Father and that`s scary stuff no matter who you are.
maybe true,but if not for the hans device and better seats,I don`t keep up with all of nascars saftey stuff as I`m busy with all the saftey stuff i have to know on my job on the railroad=which is dangeroous enough....alls you hear about is how safe the sport is...you think someone would have said "hey,what about those inside walls?"
that is the hardest hit i have seen gordon take in a long while and that opening is really dangerous where i race the wont allow anyone to go if theres any gaps in the walls (they couldn't lock a gate once and we had to wait a while)

Safer barriers or no safer barriers, flat wall or not, that was going to be a very hard hit on the passenger side door. Either way he was unhurt.

First of all, there's no safer barrier on the iside walls. Second of all, a crash like that with the old cars and Gordon would be dead.
