Is that WABC newscaster for real? Every news outlet posted on here on youtube knew immediately it was terrorism after the second plane hit the other tower - but not Mr. Einstein. He couldn't get past his theory that some system-wide computer error caused the two planes to accidently fly into two different buildings. I'm embarrassed for him.
i noticed at the moment of Impact of the second plane hitting the south tower, the Dow was up 10.00, and NASDAQ was up 1.00 and then few minutes later at 9:08 EDT, Dow fell down 130.00, NASDAQ down 40.05 and the S&P went further down as it was down at the time of impact. it went from 0.20 to 16.80, man i wonder if all the stock guys knew it was an attack the moment of Impact and were scared to buy and forced to sell, as some companies were based inside the WTC.

As a news reporter, I am amazed at the "speculation" by these guys saying, "it must have been equipment." At that moment, I was a radio program director watching this happen on CNN. As soon as I saw the second plane hit the South tower, I told our morning show, "One plane can be an accident, but not two. We're at war."
I was in high school when this happened and was horrified cause my cousin was flying out from Boston that day. We had cable in every class room soo the whole school watch the news the entire day. Will never forget it.

Navigating equipment failure or not, you see a two giants building in front of you, common sense would suggest NOT to fly in it regardless of what the flight path says, especially if it's TWO planes that did it. Granted I know nothing about aviation or flight paths, but again common sense.

@faucon1245 well it was proven years ago that the fireproofing on the steel beams were blown away from the plan crash/explosion. and the flames were so hot, it melted steel and metal, so that's what brought the twin towers down, the steel got melted and weaken to the point that it could handle anymore weight and gravity help lead to the fall of the Twin towers.

When I got home, I was so interested that I recorded the news on a tape with my VCR! My older sibling said "you have history!" I was so interested, but I didn't understand the pain the people felt. Between 4:25 and 4:32 if you see the two little vents of smoke on the left side close together, look at the left one. You might see something(debris maybe) falling really close to that vent. Im glad that the bastard who organized this attack is now dead! That son of a bitch got what he deserved!

And then they all comment on navigational errors like 2 planes, which can be controlled manually btw, just went haywire and hit 2 separate buildings perfectly. I didn't know what to think when I was watching the first building burn, but immediately knew it was terrorists after the second building was hit.
at the time i was 12 years old, and i didnt quite get the whole importance of this i just thought it was more news that would be forgotten in days, so i got angry when CBC showed this instead of the simpsons when i got back from school (i remember it was a monday?) and my mom screamed at me "WHO CARES ABOUT THE SIMPSONS!". a couple of years later i understand why she did this hehe

As a news reporter, I am amazed at the "speculation" by these guys saying, "it must have been equipment." At that moment, I was a radio program director watching this happen on CNN. As soon as I saw the second plane hit the South tower, I told our morning show, "One plane can be an accident, but not two. We're at war."

I was in high school when this happened and was horrified cause my cousin was flying out from Boston that day. We had cable in every class room soo the whole school watch the news the entire day. Will never forget it.

Navigating equipment failure or not, you see a two giants building in front of you, common sense would suggest NOT to fly in it regardless of what the flight path says, especially if it's TWO planes that did it. Granted I know nothing about aviation or flight paths, but again common sense.
Why this newsperson would even question such a thing baffles me.

@faucon1245 well it was proven years ago that the fireproofing on the steel beams were blown away from the plan crash/explosion. and the flames were so hot, it melted steel and metal, so that's what brought the twin towers down, the steel got melted and weaken to the point that it could handle anymore weight and gravity help lead to the fall of the Twin towers.

@pinkycheeks I was also 10 years old. I lived in Texas, so no one told me about the towers until after school had ended. When I got home, I was so interested that I recorded the news on a tape with my VCR! My older sibling said "you have history!" I was so interested, but I didn't understand the pain the people felt. I was excited.

Between 4:25 and 4:32 if you see the two little vents of smoke on the left side close together, look at the left one. You might see something(debris maybe) falling really close to that vent. Im glad that the bastard who organized this attack is now dead! That son of a bitch got what he deserved!

It's interesting to note that, in those first minutes, those of us watching on TV from hundreds of miles away probably knew more about what was happening than those on the ground right next to it. And those IN the buildings barely knew anything.

Those of us the furthest from the action knew much more, which is a little contrary to what we would normally expect: those nearest are usually most aware of what is going on. And I found that to be... well, interesting.

I was at my house, after eating breakfast, watching an episode of "Little House On The Prairie", I was waiting for my mom, because we was going shopping, I decided to play a computer game, I turned on the computer, and started playing a computer game, i was on it for over an hour, when i saw something reflected on the computer screen, I looked over my shoulder, and i saw this, I quickly turned the computer off, and started watching it, and I told my mom what happened.

It's amazing how dumb these reporters are. You see the second explosion and comment about it, but somehow miss the friggin plane that clearly flew into the building causing the explosion. And then they all comment on navigational errors like 2 planes, which can be controlled manually btw, just went haywire and hit 2 separate buildings perfectly. I didn't know what to think when I was watching the first building burn, but immediately knew it was terrorists after the second building was hit.

at the time i was 12 years old, and i didnt quite get the whole importance of this i just thought it was more news that would be forgotten in days, so i got angry when CBC showed this instead of the simpsons when i got back from school (i remember it was a monday?) and my mom screamed at me "WHO CARES ABOUT THE SIMPSONS!". a couple of years later i understand why she did this hehe

the second plane hit the second tower at about 4:51and it took them a whole 5 seconds to acknowledge very calmly "a second explosion" and mentioned nothing about the plane that we all clearly saw come into view...very strange. why wouldn't winston and the other guy mention that a second plane hit if they're watching the same thing that we are? that doesn't make sense. a lot of unanswered question regarding that day...

You know, i see tons of criticism towards the reporters. But this was a time when terrorism was a foreign idea to Americans. Yes, we had Pearl Harbor. But that was before many of our times....and Pearl Harbor was an attack against a Military Base, not a civilian area in the biggest city in the country.
