Wow, she's in high school? She looks so much younger than that! But I tend to be mistaken for a junior high student in some of my Koge-Donbo cosplays and I'm a sophomore. xD

She's really talented, I like her voice. She seems very good at imitation, and that's always a good start.

Nah Maxine was just 10 here- She likes to enter the talent show at the high school though. So you are correct in thinking she is to young for high school. She is only in grade 6 this year. Thanks for the nice comment!! :)

It was kind of tough being this was done in Tx and not many people watching the show "get" Maxine and her fascination for Anime. They prefer their talent to be singing "country songs". But it is catching on. :)

She was awesome at making up the choreography, the only thing I didn't like, I could hear her voice as well, and there were times she didn't even have the lyrics correct.

none taken- Maxine just picks the songs up by listening to them. She doesn't have the lyrics in print to look at so yeah, she does get them wrong alot of the time. But I'm still amazed that she can get them as well as she seems to and remember them.

The arm thingys are sewn from the same black fabric as the skirt. I crosstitched the colored "buttons" on to a rectangle of black net fabric sewn onto the sleeves. Aqua and black ribbon sewn at the top and bottom openings. There is a wire sewn into the wrist opening underneath the ribbon to keep its round shape and add weight. Elastic is sewn under the ribbon at the top opening to hold it onto her arm. Good luck with your cosplay!!!

No one in my family sews well (like making clothing-wise) so i have to make my costumes myself and work it out myself (im 12) its pretty hard, if only someone learnt how to sew (like making clothing-wise not just basic sewing) in my family!

A cutie who sang the country song "Good Morning Beautiful" She did it without her music even because they couldn't get her CD to play. She stayed on pitch through it and was very good!!

True, they probably do think the song choice is a bit odd. That's why the repsponse might not have been as good as for some of her other songs she's done for this show. Please do more english songs maxine! Stay here in america and become a model/singer/voice actress here and don't leave us for japan!! :(

Also, she seemed a good bit older in this one than in the other ones. Very pretty. Has she had a growing interval or is it just the makeup? But either way she still looks adorable.

She would love to be a voice actress here. It is something she talks about alot!! Yes, here in Texas the crowd loves a country song. So Maxine is really a bit too unconventional for them. Hay it was pretty cool that "SUNDANCE" ( American idol) opened the show. He went to this same High School back in the day.
