I don't think the films scores should be brought down because of how much blood they have in them. Some of the greatest movies (horror) of all time have little to no blood in them. And when a movie had a high gore or scare or classic rating at 10 or 9 it forced you to bring down the scores of some of the other categories so 1 movie wouldn't go ahead of the rest making this list not accurate...

I have to agree with

charmedjoey about the Blair Witch gore rating. This should be zero! Also, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre had virtually no gore/ blood at all. After watching the movie you think you have seen a bloodbath, when in fact, there is virtually none. Very clever!

I'm wondering what your definition of "classic" is. I thought it meant "original", but then some of these films would have a higher "classic2 rating if it did.

And I must protest particularly at 'The Blair Witch Project' having a "gore" rating of 7 - we don't get to see anyone killed or seriously hurt in this film, no dead bodies...nothing which could be classed as gory.

I think I'm going to have to ignore the ratings and just look at the film titles and what number you favour them in ;).
