Well, she didn't seem to be short on steam there. Thought the left hand cylinder drain cock seemed to be blowing a bit, though. Incidentally, I wonder if it's really a good idea for people to let off flash bulbs in the driver's eyes? :-/

Come on people, she is a beast! I have been behind her 3 times in 2007 and once so far in 2008 and she pulls on any old muck they chuck in her fire box. The problem is Network my friends

i saw it go through yaxley fen. 1st time i have ever seen a steam locomotive go that fast with my own eyes. i thought it seemed to struggle departing from peterborough at night.

Been behind her 3 times this year since June and all trips were very disappointing with the PRCLT making excuses or brushing off below par efforts, one trip over the S & C I honestly believed she would be failed at Carlisle.

A Duchess that can't match a 5 for performance for me says she has had problems that have been hushed up to get that bit of extra revenue, I hope the overhaul goes well and she is back in her full glory again soon, the main line would be a poor place without a "Big Un".

I was on that tour and it was ace. The crew had a problem though with poor coal so it struggled a bit. But if it wasent for the skill of the crew it could of been in a bit of trouble. Great video mate thanks
