hello.can anyone help me,i am looking for my childhood game for over a year now,n cant remember the name,only minor details,it was an old rts game with four campains.blue of robots(bipedal robots),red of vampires,purple of cicus creatures things(like pumpkin heads and jokers that can duplicate)and lastly white(or green),of medevil people(one unit named errant),look ive been searching for a long time,n cant find it.if anyone of u know, or some other guy that might have info on old rts.do reply.

what I was trying to say is that yes, the vid is fun but using a good micromanagement wud be better. Like, making at least 3 groups,and spreading them and using them more tactically and making them engage different targets, instead of engaging 1 target at a time and then stop and reloading all together like a group of morons. Also,I tend to use a small team of infantry to take the beat from turrets, tho' it slows down the action, that's true

How devastating it was to start to build up defenses... only to get rushed over and over and finally superweapons arrive until you were annihilated.

... and how AWESOME it was to build a groups and groups devastators/sonic tanks/deviators/fremens/sabota­urs and totally overwhelm the enemy!!

Had a lot of fun with this on the Playstation 1. One thing I hated was that every weapon seemed to have a small bit of spalsh damage, so you damaged your own units in close range battles. Exploding buildings did a lot of damage to your units too.

@aajii22 Yeah it's probably the same engine as the original C&C and RA. Really small and basic infantry sprites. Not many pixels available to differentiate unit types. The infantry sprites in Tiberium Sun and RA2 were a bit larger and more detailed.

It is good, you had a lot of harkonnen Destroyers but it was multiplayer game - in the single player, you can not play as Shaddam (Imperial king). :)

And Harkonnens are red and no yellow.

But it is good.....

I loved this game. The annyoing part were all the lamers when you play it on the network. They often disconnected the connection and the ww server assigned the loss to the winner. The other lamers were the nerthhtvb-bies who aborted the game when u attacked their harvs or when u used the cloaked raiders of ordos (although ordos was the weakest house and had the weakest tanks). And when u played a 4player game where everybody fight each other those lamers whined when 2 ppl attack them and aborted
