Gahhh that was horrible =/. Btw most chemical engineers end up going into the pulp and paper industry or oil and gas, fact of life, it blows. Have fun in middle of fuck all no where
A Stanford chem eng lecturer said that the problem with corn alcohol is that it takes a family's yearly food supply of corn to make 1 gallon of ethanol, and all the corn is being grown where the Amazon forest has been cut down, so the crop already creates an environmental deficit. Said also that there hasn't yet been a solar cell which has outputted over its lifetime more energy than it took to be manufactured. The future is going to have to be very intelligent to overcome these problems.
i like what TheFrenchdogs333 said.. but don't you think engineers are made because they are the one who do some stuff even thou i guess not in the lab..
HMM..will it still be called "Chemical Engineering"?? If it is going to be a combination of Chemistry and Biology wouldn't it just be another branch of Biochemistry?
This is actually saying that chemical engineering will die off and
Biochemical Engineering will Rise in its place.
So..to me this is quite depressing..
I personally don't like biology..but greatly enjoy Chemistry and Engineering..
Maybe just certain branches of Chemical engineering will die off.. or evolve into something else......
Video is looking limited in scope of chemical engg in future,,,,all foods, fertilizers, refineries, medical intts., environment and water treatment aspect of every industry,,,,,,will be covered by them as is rite now.
i am a half breed of chemistry and chemical engineering and currently in process of completion of MSc and here i come to save the world lol, will see what we can do fr you guys!

This is ridiculuous. Were you high when you made this? I was when I watched it and it changed my life. I am still a chem e.
