PLOT HOLE ALERT: If this silo was blown up with the sattalite in it, then the entire Goldeneye plot would be erased and trevelyan would cry himself asleep because his incompetent terrorist orginization failed to have him get his evil plan going.
One thing I dont get is, why would all these guards bother trying to kill you if they SHOULD be escaping the exploding silo and figuring that you will die in the explosion?
The opening of the solo shutters in the rocket room was probably the way they wanted to end the mission and the escape. The James Bond way. (riding off on a rocket wouldn't be too far fetched, would it?)

You can grenade Ouromov from the bridge at 6.10, just look up and to your left. Chuck it through the doorway.
