My theory is that many more people should study and get degrees in astronomy because really life is the everything and if we study astronomy mabye we can find out data and preserve life longer. As practice shows, 1kg of cargo delivered by a shuttle costs around 30000 in USD; 1kg of cargo delivered by a rocket costs 5000-7000 in USD. A shuttle is expensive, inefficient and dangerous (for pilots) project. If it was automatic (unmanned), than the project could has longer life.
