I really enjoyed it minus the overused ST:E Theme and the poor audio on the Two Steps From Hell track. As a long-time closeted Trekkie, that was a really fitting tribute to a series that certainly tried to profess the good mankind is capable of. Thank you.
Thanks. I don't know why so many of you dislike ST:E Theme. I like the song even I don't really believe in faith. Well, to each their own. I don't see how Heart of Courage by Two Steps From Hell sounded poor. You must have better hearing. It sounded fine to me even though I wasn't able upload the 3rd part of my tribute that has more the track. I just thought of fixing up my tribute since now I have an extra editing program to fix it up better. I might do it some point.
I cried like a baby watching this. I love the Ent them. I think they chose the song. ENT crew was suppost to relate more to us. You said you like the song even though you really don't believe in faith. I think it takes faith to believe something whether you believe in God, don't believe in God or believe in anything.
Amazing. These two videos really capture the spirit of Star Trek and the philosophy of Gene Roddenberry. To explore and stand in awe of the universe and at the same time discovering so much about ourselves. The Star Trek legacy has inspired and given hope to millions. Thanks for capturing that here.
Thank you. I just knew that you would be amazed. Lol. I think Gene would be proud of me what I have put together. I hope it will continue inspiring people for many more years ahead. :)
Well that version of the song is called "Faith in Archer" by Trent Robertson (Featuring Naomi Castro). It's in my description. It was originally for the Star Trek Enterprise: Temporal Cold War - Half-Life 2 Modification trailer but unfortunately that modified game got canned.
And people said that Gene Roddenberry would be spinning in his grave if he saw DS9, Voyager, or Enterprise. Sorry but I beg to differ. To me the last movie felt like classic Trek but modernized. It give the franchise a fresh start like The Next Generation did for it in 1987.
I actually enjoy every Star Trek series and movie and even I admit some of them are better than others. I have seen every single of them. Sorry but I enjoyed the latest movie. I know there are Trek fans out there hate it and say it's not Star Trek but I'm not one of them.
Totally awesome and emotional tribute to Star Trek (I think I only commented on part 1, though). I just have one question: why the weird ending of Spock Prime seeing alternate reality Kirk and then cutting it off? You should've put the movie's end action with the end spiel said by Spock Prime (the whole "Space: the final frontier..." thing)
Thank you. :) Actually I have a part 3 but unfortunately You Tube rejected it. It has more footage of Star Trek 2009, Captain Archer's awesome speech from episode "Terra Prime" and Picard, Kirk, and Archer's To Boldly Go speech from "These Are the Voyages...", and some commentaries from the actors and Gene Roddenberry himself. I have to find a way to upload it without You Tube rejecting it again.
This has to be the best star trek tribute i have seen it really shows star trek's very best and those little videos in between each one where brilliant the music was brilliant and it brought a tear to my eye really good. again amazing video to STAR TREK .
Enjoyed that immensly, but i gotta agree the new ST film (2009) whilst it was good it wasn't star trek. Star Trek was TOS/TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT. But none the less, well done.
this is an amazing video. great great job. i was just wondering what song did u use while shoing the new star trek film clips. i know its enterprises theme song but its not russel waston or watever singing it. who sings this version?
It's called "Faith in Archer" by Trent Robertson (Featuring Naomi Castro). It's in my description. It was originally for the Star Trek Enterprise: Temporal Cold War - Half-Life 2 Modification trailer. Apparently they never finish making that modified game. Fans were making it. You actually can find the trailer on here on YouTube.
Wait you said the music with the new star trek film clips? That is actually "Heart of Courage" by Two Steps From Hell. It was used for Mass Effect 2 - Launch Trailer. Man you should check that trailer out. It's the best damn Sci-Fi trailer I ever saw. Mass Effect is so similar to Star Trek. It's a great video game RPG series. It has most elements and references from Star Trek, Star Wars, and some from Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Starship Troopers, Blade Runner, and Aliens.
At the end of the day, it's all good, Star trek is good, as much as we smash it around now n then due to crappy episodes etc but when you step back and look at it as a whole, boy...its really something special
Video ends at 7:20. I don't know why you added in scenes from the new "Star Trek" film. That is in no way Roddenberry's Star Trek. Just some brainless JJ Abrams Star Wars action movie for the masses with Star Trek as the title.
That's your opinion. Sorry if the new film doesn't feel like Roddenberry's Star Trek to you. To me it does even if you don't see it. Some of it feels like classic Trek but with a new twist to it and more action packed and more appealing to today's audience. It given the franchise a new fresh start like Star Trek The Next Generation did back in 1987 which became the highest rated Trek series ever. I have seen and own every single episode, season, series, and film of Star Trek.
I know this is nothing to do with the music video which is very very good by the way but has anyone else noticed that the Breen head Gear Is the same as the one in Star War: Return Of The Jedi just noticed it the other day
If u are a true Star Trek fan then I am so sure you have enjoyed this as much as me. The time it must have took to put this together was probably so lengthy lol Thank you so much for that. You really put it all there in front of us and just gave me chills!!!
I think star trek has died now, i disliekd the new movie, it was a dumb action flick with no soul, it was just a bad movie and it was star trek gone wrong im my opinion
@elcap22 thanks for ur opinion, but I really enjoyed it lol. I am just so glad Star Trek is back and I hope one day they will do more movies that include the later characters like Picard, Sisko and Janeway!
I just want to say thank you so much for such an amazing tribute you have put together for this genre that has touched so many lives by the powerful message it has for humanity and for the human soul. You really understand Star Trek!!! I just hope many fans see this and are touched by it as I have been. Again, thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!

Michael, you strike me as being better than extrapolating other videos and feelings. You have the ability......make it so. Perhaps we should work on something in the near future.............
Thanks man. I really appreciate that. I wish I could show you part 3 but You Tube detected some content in part 3 that they wouldn't allow me upload. I'm just glad you enjoy it even my tribute is incomplete. Part 3 had more of some great moments from Star Trek 2009, Captain Archer's awesome speech from episode "Terra Prime" and Picard, Kirk, and Archer's To Boldly Go speech from "These Are the Voyages...", and some commentaries from the actors and Gene Roddenberry himself. :)
@TheStarTreker You are good at what you do. I am going to seriously keep you in mind for my next project......if you are interested that is. And BTW, you erred in this vid. You should have shown Ira Behr saluting the cast of DS 9. Its there....watch for it.
Oh thank you again. I might be interested. Where did I err? Is it the part with DS9 in the holosuite? I couldn't noticed. I didn't know one of the producers did that. Lol.
@TheStarTreker I was being playfully facetious. You should have had Ira Behr (the man who SHOULD have been Gene's rightful successor) saluting the cast of DS 9 in the video. Not many people have ever caught that scene. Right after Vic's song, the camera shows the cast from across the room. Right in front are some people sitting at a table. Look at the far right side. That is Ira Behr raising his glass at the cast. One of my all time favorite Trek moments.
You should check out my Save Superman ad tribute which is on the SaveSupermanCom Channel if you like Superman also besides Star Trek. It's pretty good and some people were shocked by my editing skills on it too.
Thanks. I'm still trying to upload Part 3 but unfortunately I have to edit it and shorten it some since there are some content I can't have in it. This is my last try to upload Part 3. :(
Unfortunately I can't upload Part 3 because of the visual content it contains which I can't figure which ones I can not use. So I give up I guess I will just have to live only have a 2 part tribute. :( At least I'm just glad you like it even I can't show you Part 3.
