  • USA!!

  • Polecam ,Wojtek the soldier bear i The General's Honour

  • Oh, could you now, Breezeman? This documentary could do w/o the same people who, almost 70 years ago, defended our country, battled through this hellhole, and actually survived to tell about it.. This long after... Who the F else should the director use as a source? Steven Siegal? How audacious, ignorant, and disrespectful u are to say something like that! I think these vets/heroes, myself, and the rest of humanity could "do without" YOU, but that's just my opinion, now isn't it? Wake up c

  • I could do without the interviews of the veterans.

  • rekinize six sixty six

  • nice documents :D

  • Best ally of the USMC during hte Pacific war, those stupid Japanese banzai massed infantry attacks...you lure them out of their holes and hose them down.

  • @Bander1 The japanese learned throughout the war to not use bunzai attacks.

In later battles the japanese used mainley defencive tactics. The last large bunzai

attack was at saipan wich was also the largest with 3000 troops attacking.

  • Yes Arisaka 7.7 mm round to the head is a sure killer even with a helmet.

  • Are you guys familiar with "Stan Gajda"? That may be a stupid question (forgive me if it is). If you aren't familiar you might like to do a google on his name.

  • @alanccoop

Is he some kind of hero ?

I'll google hima right away ;)

  • I have posted photos I took in 1973 of Nauru, Tuvalu, Kiribati and Fiji on the webshot site. You can access them by doing a search on "coopec100"

  • Thanks, mate. Appreciate your posts and wish you well.

  • You are a fantastic ambassador for US of A - Keep it up! Just read your profile ( you must very proud of yourself.)

  • Sorry for the confusion, mate (alanccoop)... was your post to me or to 2bn? My display doesn't show indentations for comments to posts properly right now.

  • When you work out how to make the indentations work properly could you please email and tell me!!

  • What website is that.

  • It's on Webshots. In the Nauru album there are photos of various bits of artillery as well as an unexploded 500lb American bomb. The Japanese established a hospital on the island in a cave at the centre of the island. The hut that I lived in (behind the mini-mokes) was use by the Japs as a machine-gun post (you could see where they had knocked down some of the wall)

  • Youtube obviously don't want me to give you a website address so I suggest you do a google on "Nauru Japanese hospital phosphate". You will get the site I mean. If you did a search on "Nauru Japanese WW11" I imagine you would get a lot more interesting sites.

  • Fantastic coverage of history that should not be forgotten!

  • Well said, my friend, I agree totally.

  • And ty! for that Mozart #8... I cannot help but think Wolfgang would be completely giggling with delight at hearing it.

  • .these extraordinary areial images realy helped me to see whats hapent ;)

  • lol, "oh pardon me, I thought you were dead"

  • @jkun17 Very polite fellow indeed :)

  • Good upload, but if that guy says one more time "..these extraordinary areial images.." I'm gonna blowtorch him.

  • @yonimiller lol

  • @yonimiller

    hahahaha...

  • @yonimiller

Agreed, he says the same fucking thing every episode. I've learned to ignore him at this point.
