v2 alternate (two skate) is a technique used for going at high speeds, it uses skate, skate, pole, skate , skate, pole. while v1 (one skate) uses a skate, pole, skate, pole

although the guy in this video is bieng too sloppy with his arms and letting his poles travel outside the bodys direction of travel

I don't know much about skate skiing. How does V2 alternate differ from V1?

cool stuff, I just bought roller skis (v2 940 combis) and am learning to do this. NOT easy at all, almost hurt myself. You make it look simple though, cool video!
