@theavailablenamessuk Most of these satellites have C-Band and Ku-Band transponders, you can get all the Ku stuff with a motorized Ku system. All of the channels I've shown in this video are Ku Channels.

Gosh :| This is fairly poor in comparison with what we get in Europe via Free-to-air satellite! Some of the American stuff available looks interesting, but there's quite a lack of international stuff.

It all looks like a maze to me. If I could figure it out then I'd be interested to get a FTA system.

I love your FTA videos! I live at 117W and would like to know if you would recommend having a 118deg+ dish and a 116deg- and how one would combine them. Also, how dual-LNBs work and its/their benefits. 73s! KE6YPO

it would be possible to combine the signals from multiple dishes using Diseqc switches. A dual LNB basically allows you to connect multiple receivers to one LNB - only useful for 2 or more receivers.
