  • There is a clip in NBA website where they show an example of LeBron James travelling... Under Video Rule Book

  • Yes he traveled i can see that but NOT twice. Only travel was when he catches the ball and puts the ball on the ground to late, BUT there was no traveling before the dunk. The counting of steps starts after he grabs the ball with 2 hands or dribbles it when his hand is under the ball and after he grabs the ball with 2 hands he only takes 2 steps = NO TRAVEL

  • He clearly traveled before starting the dribble. When he stopped dribbling, its up to debate wether he had already gathered the ball or not (and therefore if we should count 2 or 3 steps without dribbling). If I were the ref, I'd call the first one but not the second.

  • LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNn..!!

  • wheerrrrreeee iiiissss ttthhheee wwwiiinnndddmmmiiillllllll

  • IT WASNT A TRAVEL. #imjustsayin

  • The only reason the ref didn't blow for a travel simply because he is Lebron James.

  • clearly a travel

  • He traveled

  • Anyone who said LeBron traveled before he dunk doesn't know what is traveling is

  • he CLEARLY TRAVELED TWICE

  • it's ridiculous to learn basketball and constantly see this kind of error from a top player.

  • OMG PPL stop hating Lebron .......leave him aloneeeee

  • hmm, well they didnt call a travel so why is there a discussion about it ?!

  • the windmill? i saw no windmill

  • you can only take a step if you are dribbling witch made the first time traveling and the second time was traveling also because you can only take two step going up for a layup/dunk he took three seriously are you guy blind or dumb

  • At first he took 2 steps then dribbled= is not a travel

Then when he was taking off for dunk picked up ball took 2 steps then jumped for dunk which is also not a travel

  • @KingNas741 he took 3 step look closer

  • @MegaJeremiah23 u obviously dont know basketball if u think thats a travel

  • Can we see his championships in slow motion.?

  • @jeffowen27 it doesn't matter whether the ball is in TWO hands. otherwise a player could run down the court holding the ball in one hand, up his shirt, or balanced on the back of his neck. Any movement of an established pivot foot is a travel no matter where the ball is.

  • 0:38 is so funny LOL. WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

  • fuck you

  • i am sure in europe 50 percent of the nba players would have 15 turnovers per game because of travelling

  • @jeffowen27 i would count the first step too...but it doesn´t matter because if the refs wouldn´t call the first travel they wouldn´t call the second either ;)

  • HE DID NOT TRAVELED! TRAVELED! sorry if you don't know basic grammar.

  • @ohdivad WE are NOT here to learn GRAMMARS...

  • @jeffowen27 NOT HERE TO LEARN GRAMMAR. BUT THE FACT THAT YOUR GRAMMAR SUCKS. #IMJUSTSAYIN

  • @ohdivad He did not travel is past tense. It becomes incorrect with he did not traveled.

  • LeBrick thought this was football

  • he traveled twice...first after he was catching the the ball before his first dribble, and second before he did the dunk...thank you for showing it in slow motion so anybody can see it ;)

  • @MrLordwax the steps AFTER he grabbed the ball with his 2 hands for a dunk.. that's the step that you should count and not after his last dribble

  • @MrLordwax when you're catching the ball WHILE MOVING its legal to take two steps then make dribble.. but.. when you catch the ball while NOT MOVING.. it should be DRIBBLE FIRST before taking any steps..

  • @nodice03 you are right, but after the catch he did two steps and then a third before the ball hit the ground...so it´s travelling...nevertheless nobody could stop him anyway even if he did not travel...so let´s just enjoy the nice fastbreak and the superior physic of mr. james ;)

  • surely, there is LeBron's travel. And if the publisher of this video think, that James has done 2-step stop, he make a mistake.

  • When you catch the ball while moving/running you can make two steps without the dribble. I think he did three steps most. Tough one for the ref.

  • he usually makes 5 steps this is nothing for him :D

  • He traveled when he caught the ball and took 2 steps before dribbling. He catches the ball, and lands on his left foot first, making that his pivot foot. He then steps with the right and lifts his left (pivot) foot before releasing the ball to dribble.

From the nba rule book: In starting a dribble after (1) receiving the ball while standing still, or (2) coming to a legal stop, the ball must be out of the player's hand before the pivot foot is raised off the floor. (2) applies

  • lol he always travels nothin new

  • travel anot ...the ball still counts hater....hahahax....

  • forget the travel, which he did traveled btw, Who else thinks this sounds funny in slow motion lol I will never make fun of a handicapp people but if they were commentators..

  • lmao thanks for showing us that he did travel

  • its because its LEBRON JAMES nuff said

  • after he runs with the ball his left hand he gets it on his right hand and takes 3 steps...

how come the ref didnt see this?

  • What do you mean when he grabs the ball? When he grabs the ball for the dunk, or when he first grabs the ball at midcourt? Because what people are saying is he traveled when he grabbed the ball at midcourt and i can't see how that is not a travel
