Can u do the same thing u did on the video in your zone 2? I mean, can you play you iphone or computer music on speakers installed on the backyard of your house. Isn't there any issues with digital-analog conversion? I mean, the same issue with HDMI audio that wont play in zone 2?
@gutgol I can control all zones that the recevier can support from this app and each can play a different set of source material to different speakers. Using the Net/USB source I can play internet/pandora music. You might be thinking about the "airplay" functionality. If you do want to use the optional apple airplay feature it will overide all zones. I use pandora the most.
Hi, Nice review. Am I right that it's possible to switch off the app after you have sent a playlist to you Denon? Is it also possible to select your NAS as server and sent a whole playlist to your Denon?
@bubex73 1) make sure your phone is on your wireless network rather than 3g 2) make sure you check the denon for all software updates first 3) make the sure the iphone and denon both are on the same network (subnet and gateway)
I just bought the Denon 3311 and will be setting it up to work with my iPad. I'll report back in a few days when i get it all running. The ratings on Apple's App store for this app were way less than stellar. granted they were mostly from mid-2010. I hope the app has been updated enough to be truly useful from an iPad. stay tuned...
amazing. I've been torn between the onkyo 3008 or the denon 4311...this is really cool. I wonder if they have a similar thing for Onkyo? If not, this is pointing me over to towards the denon..a little ;)

thanks for your video. Does this remote allow you to turn on your TV and adjust it's volume?

Have you tried this app with an IPAD? If so, any feedback on that? Thanks.
