The dinosaurs weren´t ´wiped out´50 or 60 millions of years ago.
I believe that dinosaurs are still around , but that there was in fact a program of wiping out extensively large dinosaur populations something like 50 , 000 + years ago.

I think that what I call the Battlestar Galactica period , began something like 3 to 4 billion years ago.
It would make absolutely perfect sense to me that some dinosaurs survived until recently.
And I don´t think that carbon 14 dating should be ruled out.
