This is where I grew up before moving to the best state ever, TEXAS!:) I attended Schurz H.S and remeber playing ball at Avondale park & parkview with a few freinds who happend to be Gaylords. They were all white with polish or Irish decent. Cool kids come to think about it. They rolled around with the Latin Kings at Schurz.. I didn't even know they were gangbangers until I got to H.S. At the 25th District Police Station, they have a room and the entire ceiling has hanging old school gang sweaters. There were a lot of Vice Lords and Latin Kings sweaters and shirts. I remember a Four Corner Hustle shirt that had a hand pointing up with the thumb cut off and blood spurting out of where the thumb was.

But you are right: it was the Gaylord's, Kings, and the real old school gangs that wore sweaters. There was some good artwork back then.
