The two dunks are a little different. Air bama was already spinning when he caught the ball, Blake was trying to catch the ball in the air then spin which is a lot harder to do.
Good job of pointing that out, I was wondering why him not even getting the ball to rim looked crazy tight. I finally see it now, that is a big difference in difficulty. I use to try and jump then spin, but I wasn't thinking about dunking a ball. Just doing that alone in itself is hard enough.

@Risingson22 Ha ha true. More amazin 2 b able to play a full season on the highest level and STILL be able to be a good dunker! Most if not all street dunkers couldn't do that! The NBA guys only devote the time around allstar weekend to "focus" on dunking and they just use whatever "mid-season" hops they have. TFB is top dunkers hands down, but you couldn't stay on that level playing 82+ games. Short NBA dunkers are even more amazin cuz they have to maintain high 30's to 40+ vert just to dunk!

He lost by 1 point to Blake Griffin to go to the second round on a dunk that definetely didnt deserve a 46, compared to Derozan's first.
The contest can be so rigged where since its Blake Griffin and he's going to use a car for his hinal dunk Derozan cant move on.
Derozan's almost doubled his ppg from last season and iss consistenly working on his game to get better and I cant help but just feel so bad for him

maybe small difference, but it look like griffin was trying to 2hand windmill it, and the other guy didnt. OR...griffin just lost control of it and it looked like he was attempting the windmill....but his first dunk, he attempted to windmill too...so who knows. either the dunks are not the same or griffin lost it...but, both dunks are amazing and beyond my jumping abilities.

Pause it at :04 seconds.....if he had made that.....the crowd would have when nuts. He had the height looks like he got a lil disoriented in the are. But if yall notice, he caught the with his back toward the camera....not to the basket. That would have been WICKED!!!!

i like the derozan comments he did some nice dunks but if anyone was robbed it was ibaka everyone goes mental for free throw line dunks he did his from behind the actual line it was insane and his creativity was good also he should have won if any onther player did the free throw line dunk people would have went mad yet people just seemed to not even care

@60zOutlaw ya i agree some NBA players can dunk like a dunker. But compared to those professional dunkers, they are not as profession. There is a slight different in dunkers and NBA players. NBA players can dunk and do some tricks while dunkers can do almost every dunk tricks.

The two dunks are a little different. Air bama was already spinning when he caught the ball, Blake was trying to catch the ball in the air then spin which is a lot harder to do.

Good job of pointing that out, I was wondering why him not even getting the ball to rim looked crazy tight. I finally see it now, that is a big difference in difficulty. I use to try and jump then spin, but I wasn't thinking about dunking a ball. Just doing that alone in itself is hard enough.
