It's not that I don't like this person's singing, but this song will always have a very special place in my heart along with Karen's beautiful deep voice singing it. The song came out just a little before my dad passed away. Every time I hear the verse about memories, my best memories of him really do come back. He was the one, who about a week before he passed made a special trip to buy the Carpenters Now and Then album for me because he knew how much I loved this song. Unforgettable.

This song is EXACTLY like the original by The Carpenters. This person has a nice voice, but it's nowhere near as good as Karen Carpenter and the backing vocals in this song are lame. Even the lead vocals are a bit weak and quiet. I think this was a waste of time and just an attempt to rip-off the Carpenter's. Go write your own song if you are going to just mimic it poorly!
