  • Taekkyon seems pretty cool - too bad almost nowhere teaches it anymore.

  • He is the real master i ever seen before.

  • lol to the people who say this is fake i saw this in real life when i was in korea for a trip

  • This is a hardcore path you should take if you decide to take martial arts...

Too bad people getting fat off cheeseburgers here would take you to court if you hurt their finger nails during training. And they complain how weak Tae Kwon Do is.

In Korea, most martial arts that go through hardcore training is done in the mountains, through blistering winter cold or extremely hot summers :)

  • @ShinLa83

Does Korea even have hot summers? I heard it's a rather cold country, and it has mild pleasant summers.

  • @Ksharp1fan It's on the same level as New York, how can you say it's not hot in the summer? rofl. It's blistering hot during the summer unless you talked to someone that came from North Korea or Southern Manchuria (which is stolen by China, but a lot of Koreans still there).

  • @ShinLa83 Funny how you kimchi rat&cat&dog meat eaters are so addicted from spreading lies about other countries.Stop motharfarking lying! South Manchuria has nothing to do with you crooked legged spicy cat&dog meat eating creatures, those koreans in manchuria were all migrants from korean peninsula in recent history, some are descendants of slaves taken from korea throughout the history

  • @masterofbeheading But, you're Chinese. Enough said.

  • This is not fake..its an actual fighting style...older and more ancient than taekwando..

  • @Jorgelee01 Taekwondo is only 52 year old

  • @ken162008 What? Being a recognized martial art doesn't mean the same thing as being invented.

  • please teach me

  • Where the fuck are the wires?

  • Boss fight!

  • yang/yun from street fighter?

  • Who ever talk about Taekwon Do wrong don't know that originally their is a traditional Taekwon Do that was developed by the 9 of the11 wangs used in Korean military.Still till this day and its practice in some parts of America one is our U.S military and o ya I'm a practitioner of Taekwon Do for the the so call Martial arts haters out their playa learn ya'll history as well as your philosophy.

  • This kinda looks fake D:

  • Style of MA is as powerful as the rule it fights, trains and competes the practitioners under. In terms of standup fighting, yes, Muy Thai is probably the best. Not because it's a better style but because it has the most rawest competition rules of all MA styles that allows knees, elbows etc. Subsequently the practitioner has to condition their bodies to take the blows and endure. And that's usually a deciding factor in a real fight.

  • @Xentradi97 TKD often doesn't do well in open style K-1 fights, because it was developed into more of a sport. It was a trade off. Essence of its MA remains but by making it more sport with safety features allowed it to become the most popular form of MA that everyone can enjoy. If they changed TKD competition rule tomorrow to make it as raw or even rawer than Muy Thai, TKD will become the most powerful standup style ever. And same goes for other styles.

  • are you people fucking retarded, it says in the video TRAINEE VS MASTER, it doesnt even matter what style against what style the trainee WILL LOSE.

  • The youtube discussion about which martial art tradition is better than which is about as intelligent and meaningful as a discussion about who would win in a fight between Batman and the Green Ranger.

  • @bumfromkorea The Pink ranger would probably win

  • @bumfromkorea

Or the Batman assistant Robin the Williams or Robin Hood....nonsense talking about win and loosing small minds.

  • As if you're going to stand there while someone runs up you!

  • @TheNguyenboi actually, it doesnt matter. dojo is the english word for dojang which is the Korean form of the word, so dojang is more correct

  • @pandaXpres111 dojo = japanese, dojang = korean...

    you still got it wrong...

  • @pandaXpres111

    dojo is japanese not english.

  • lol the first thing I see in every martial arts video is a fistful of insults about the video or some completely unrelated martial art. Just watch the damn video, If you like it, click like. If you don't like it, dislike. Is there anything more that you need to do on Youtube? o_O

  • For all haters, check this out. Taekwondo beats Muay Thai. It takes skill to beat another. Almost same body types for each. Check it out.

    /watch?v=4jM29ghBfWU

  • This is so acted, the student's just stand there while he jumps them.

  • TKD (like many other traditional martial arts) is presented in a shit manner in the west, mostly (in my opinion) in America(true or not?) .Do you know how many 3rd dan black belts there are that are all at the age of 12

In Asia (especially founding countries of these martial arts), the training that people go through is unreal, sweat piss and blood is put into it. how many people would go through the things those above have done

i salute those who keep martial arts alive in their true form,

  • @Sevv921 partially yes.

  • no martial arts is better than the other . it's all on the user . i have trained to high in hwa rang do and taekkyon and have still been beaten before . i have also picked up moves from other martial arts and been beaten . i have trained in wing chun after 6years boxing , with all combine , i have been beaten . i have also beaten other styles , never is there a martial arts unbeaten . you are not on right path as fighter with that mentality .

  • @GhostShivs13 That is why it all come down to having the right mentality in the end. This is what I see from Taekkyon, really cool and wise thinking. Compare Taekkyon gracious form with the likes of wrestling and MMA is an insult to it; in my opinion. No offense intended :).

  • @janissaryzaku none taken . the beauty of martial arts is that there is no comparison . and the way they all come together is an art in itself . like the snake , beautiful , deadly , and graceful . it adapts . and there are various types , none better than the next .

  • @janissaryzaku Yeah, that's right.

  • @Sevv921 no they're not, american thai boxing has the same basic rules and stance, but cut out the special training regimen of real MT which is what makes it special, MT without the traditional training is simply kickboxing with leg strikes and knees/elbows.

  • @SuperBluepurple It's merely sparring. A "fight" would be an intent to seriously harm or kill.

  • It's better the taekwondo... es mi punto de vista...

  • All fighting arts can't be said as martial arts. And not all martial arts are for the purpose of fighting. One can fight without any knowledge of martial arts. But one needs a lot of discipline, perseverance, patience, inner strength and training etc., to master A martial arts. No wonder, idiots prefer guns. One doesn't need to earn a belt to shoot.

  • Taekyun is better than Taekwondo. Taekyun has more than 2,000 years of history in Korea.

  • @asadal123 widae taekkyeon is the shit

  • 0:38

    "you're such a wimp dude"

  • english subtitles needed! :(

  • @jowrab You don't know the true meaning of martial arts. Go away.

  • treinamento pesado oO

  • taekkyun is gracious with moves, very smooth in technique

  • Taekkyun has many many mmmmmmmmmmmmanny deadly techniques that can kill you in one shot .... It was forbidden by the Japanese when they colonized Korea... This martial art goes back to 37 BC or even longer.

  • Taekkyon goes back to about 37 BC around Three-Kingdoms Period. Older than Karate, Shoalin kung fu, Kung fu, etc...

  • @Hananim91 uhh dude, kung fu dates back much farther than 37 bc

  • @kapoof2

There's no proof of that, neither there's prove that Shoalin goes back as far as that too despite faulty evidences.

  • @Hananim91 if ur gonna play that game, wheres ur proof? the fact is, even historic records can be fake, fact is, nobody was there, even u

  • @kapoof2

Yì Jīn Jīng is considered forgery by historians alike. So where are evidences? Chinese says that Shaolin Kung-Fu came from Chinese Song hero, Yue Fei by tradition? You believe that? The only evidences they have is from pictures from murals and historical writing and those goes far as 800 AD and later.

  • Fighters win fights, not style. No superior art, only superior fighters.

  • wow amazing kicks

  • why aint dude in red working out fuckin laZy fuck

  • @NebunLaCap because he's a master. duh

  • @NebunLaCap probably cause he's the master? LOL.

  • @NebunLaCap I think he is the master, u high mofo

  • i agree wit panicwingzero nd 6arcsn1sky;;;

    im a tkd learner myself nd im srsly sick of ppl critisizin how shit tkd is;;;

    @ MartialValor: so ur a 1st dan???

in my Dojo half of the students are 1st dan...... dun dirty tkd's name

  • @Kanganator1996 That doesn't exactly help your case....

    1. Learn how to type

    2. It's Dojang for TKD, not dojo

    3. If half the students at your dojang are 1st dan, that suggests you are learning at a mcdojo.

  • @Kanganator1996

I'm extremely envious of your education!

  • @Kanganator1996 i do taekwondo to. i agree and disagree i dont like the criticizing either but half of the students in your school are a black belt thats fishy i might be wrong. remember a black belt is only good for holding up your pants

  • tkd is wtf no ITf original :-)

  • I like this it show how different fighting styles work and how an individual uses it.

  • @aone122 what show is this, and where can i find it to watch

  • @l2q Human weapon i believe but I was more revering about TKD and Taekkyon training style in this video.

  • this is just TV and they are young.. I don't believe young guys stuff and I am korean.. they are doing just for money and a tv series..

  • why is everyone a martial art master on youtube?

  • Im Gonna Teach This to my boy

  • fuckin EH

  • fuckin EH

  • thumbs up if you know what a dojang smells like after an intense workout session.

  • @flymistaslick failure....

  • all the traneing in the World wont help you fight .fights aren't fair the dirtey and if you hesitate it will end badley for you. if the tkd man kick the guy in the balls first thing then kicks him in the head he wins

  • @bassmaster1972 When you learn to spell correctly (and don't give dislexia bullshit), your opinion will be worth at least something. For now, stop embarrassing yourself with your pseudo-smart remarks. I've faced enough street fights where TRAINING is exactly what kept me standing up.

  • @bassmaster1972 yeah too bad you wont get the fucking chance to try and kick in the balls because they only thing you will be thinking after you fight someone who actuals trains in martial arts is i cant fucking breath you moron

  • what makes aikido work is pure physics .there is on magic force (ki,chi)its all science .and when it comes to the different arts in a real fight if you never ben in one not a competition or mma fight but real fight were there is no rules were you mite died if you freez you will lose.

    remember fight dirty= win

  • trip out the dont play around

  • see now this is TKD you wont find here in the states

  • oh!! A mma fighter from USA that belive to know how to fight because he is MMA. well I don't belive that a good fighter is a martial artist as the martial artis is a good fighter and is dédicateed to see the beauty of every art without bashing them so and I know he wont reply me becaus he will not see this comment, to you martialvalor your will never be a martial artist. Some pro MMA art real martial artist as they give repect to other art master for there skill.

  • @aucteakwondomaster as for aikido, even bas rutten says that their wristle lock are very efficient and are even use in art like judo, juijutsu, bjj and in MMA (but du to rule are often illegal (grab the glove )) just in a different shape. now the amature MMA should just listen to elder MMA fighter that are always friendly and respectfull.

but that dosen't have aniting to do with the vid so sorry about it

  • @MartialValor You're a clown, you dare call yourself a martial arts? Style means nothing. It ALL comes down to the individual. Bragging about a SPORT record doesn't mean anything, a real fight is completely different than anything in the ring. Rules exist in the ring to keep those fighters safe. Why do you think their are techniques that are taught that cannot be used in the ring? I've been doing TKD for about 7 months now, and I've beaten people of other style and not because of TKD.

  • @MartialValor i beat two guys with years more experience than myself, one with 6 years of experience and one with 13 years of experience, open your mind you idiot. No style is better than the other, and smaller chance doesn't make it impossible, and that doesn't make it better.

  • @MartialValor Okay internet net tough guy, I'm a month away from being the same age as you. Don't get mad at me that I proved your theory wrong, open your mind and then you will be on my level as both a martial arts and an adult.

  • @MartialValor True TKD is different than sport TKD in the fact that there is a lot more punching in real TKD, from your ignorance I can tell you dont know the difference between the sport and combat versions. I'll say it again, no martial art is better than another, it all comes down to the martial artist.

  • @MartialValor Bjj I accept your challenge I live right out side of philadelphia pa. Oh also you proved me right by using those examples. One if you only learn to punch with one hand and don't do anything else, your an idiot for staying in that school, and two why am I able to beat a lot of others who have been doing it longer? Simply because of how I push myself. If I only to my martial art during class a few days no matter what style I will be trash. Now if I push myself to the point of where I

  • @MartialValor am about to collapse and train the way my art is suppose to be used, then that is a completely different story. I've beaten people who have done muay thai. Why not because of the style but because of the individual.

  • @MartialValor search TKD vs Muay Thai in China and tell me what happened there?

I have, but it's better than just calling people a kid, dont be mad that we have proved you wrong. Grow up. You've proved nothing but that you know how to brag and act tuff.

  • @MartialValor ok then... go fight an aikido fighter... dont blame us if you get paralyzed...

  • @MartialValor I accept your challenge. And no that wasn't my muay thai victory. Wow you noticed stuff I haven't changed since I was like 16, congrats I made some mistakes. And like everyone has been saying it's the fighter not the art.

  • @MartialValor I don't do kick boxing or boxing, if anything, I'll have my amateur mma license by then. I'm suppose to be in some real fights soon, so I'll have someone get that on video so you can see what I can do when I'm not injured.

  • @MartialValor so I'll definitely let you know when my amateur career starts, by the way, which fighter are you, what are your stats?

  • @MartialValor Sounds great to me, I respect you as a martial artist, I just disagree with your philosophy. As soon as I get my start, I'll let you know.

  • @panicwingzero Awesome.

  • @panicwingzero not a bad point, i get what ur saying. but i just think its funny how every says "Oh, ringsports dont count cuz they have rules" but who says those fighters cant fight without the rules? i mean sheesh..if they can fight that decent with rules..i wouldnt wanna fight em in a street fight no holds bar.. but yea, its not TKD that helps u fight, it all depends on u i think

  • @panicwingzero I would agree with you largely in part that techniques are differnt in the streets however as martial artistist there always room for improvemnt. say you only know boxing ok boxing is not a martial art however it has good punching technique then you only know how to do a good punch you add in say tkd then you get good with legs as well. Bring beauty & life to the arts and yes we make it happen.

  • @lococavasa There is only one thing I'd have to disagree with, and that is that boxing is very much a martial art. It may not seem like it in modern times, but boxing is an art none the less.

  • @lococavasa believe it or not a boxer is also a martial artist. No I am not a boxer but I am a student of the martial arts. I currently hold a 1st Dan in WTF Taekwondo, and see all the rhetoric about who's the best or what's the best art, and I've found that to be in the Martial Artist himself. Bruce Lee is considered the best and greatest martial artist of all time but even he called Muhammed Ali "The Greatest". My philosophy is learn yourself and what is best for your lifestyle and Grow. Peace

  • @MoRobi0515 Taken from the wekipedia online dictonary. Martial arts (literally meaning arts of war[1] but usually referred as fighting arts) are extensive systems of codified practices and traditions of combat therefore in a literal since boxing is not a martial art but a system of combat. This is something ive had a hard time explaining. In the sense of fighting yes but literal no it is not. A MARTAIL ART IS A ART OF WAR. BOXING IS NOT A ART OF WAR.

  • @lococavasa I hate to seem like a stick in the mud because I consider all fighting arts martial arts. I will almost gaurantee the wikipedia writer is more than likely just a writer. As a student of martial arts I see any well trained fighter as a martial artist. I guess we have to agree to disagree, I guess I've always been fasinated with boxing's purity. Also with the advent of this wave of MMA players, hand skills are a plus. Peace Brudda

  • @MoRobi0515 This is what i have taken into myself when it comes to training in the ma's. In order to be the best you have to train like crazy all the way down to the point were you take everything you have learned and turn it into a science. I think that is what bruce lee did with jeet kune do. If your defense is down you can change it by constantly changing and adapting to the arts. Good luck in all your trainning.

  • I would like to see him doin' that jumping stuff during a fight in the ring!

  • @MartialValor Someone here watches too much Ong Bak.

  • @MartialValor No, you're the stupid one since idiots like you will always claim one style is better than the other. Well, guess what, it's not the style, but fighter is what matters. Don't act like you're some big shot fighter who acts like one style can beat anotther since just that's a pile of bull.

  • @MartialValor You know you're just so full of it to claim one art is better than the other. That's just pure nonsense since fighters are what really matters. Just so you know, K-1 was developed by a karate black belt, and you can't say it's a shitty style, along with aikido and the other styles.

  • @MartialValor What matters is the fighter, dude, not his or her martial art.

  • @MartialValor Seriously, aikido is no joke because I trained it before. Besides, aikido and its parent art, aikijujutsu, aren't friendly styles meant for fight competitions. If I were you, I would cut the crap that fighting style matters since it doesn't.

  • @MartialValor You know what? I think you're the joke because I don't want to learn from YOUR BULLSHIT. Rather than to be a humble individual, you're just a narrow-minded and pitiful kid who focuses only on one fighting style. Don't you dare claim that I'm a wannabe martial artist and fighter since that's just another of your bullshit and that I trained in martial arts a lot longer than you. You're the wanna be martial artist because you lack humbleness and respect.

  • @MartialValor Ah, so you're claiming I'm a "wannabe and a shitty fighter." Who the fuck do you think you are? Maybe you're the one since all you do is type and do nothing about it. Here you are acting like your some big shot "martial artist," yet you lack respect to other styles. Why don't you grow up and face the truth that a fighting style isn't what matters in the martial art world. You're all bark and no bite.

  • @MartialValor Yeah, talk all you want, retard. Talk whatever the fuck you want to say because you're a joke.

  • @MartialValor Why should I listen a shit head like you since I know you're a joke to us. I don't care if you're a black belt in whatever art you claim. You're a very good example of fighters who act all tough and shut-minded in which most martial artist disapprove of. You may have martial skills, but you lack maturity. At least guys like csrau, panicwingzero, and me are more humble and open-minded in our martial arts background, unlike you. Stop replying to me and just do your training.

  • @MartialValor That I will, Mr. Retard.

  • @MartialValor The true Aikido is internal energy. What is 6 days in training inner power. You will not be able to even lift or move a true master of Aikido.

  • @qiankundanuoyi1 LOL, like i said your living in dreamland. Not only cant i lift you and any of your skinny 90 year old "masters" I could also smash to the ground face first. 6 days is all it took to realize EVERYONE there are a retarded dreamer like you. No such thing as magic buddy. Show me real aikido being used. Not fags jumping and flying around. Judo is real control. Real locks and real throws.

  • @MartialValor Its about the martial artist.. if you think Judo is stronger then Aikido... go take up Judo... just becareful not to rush them... or they can just catch your arm and break it...

  • @ymk19 Yea like in those fake videos? Common aikido is a joke. It's never been proven a working system. If i rush an aikido guy, the poor thing will probably wake up 2 months later and move on to muay thai or judo or somthing that wont make him fight like a bitch. Aikido = Soft wing chun = soft taekwondo = half soft half good. the kicks are good the art is useless. I have my 1st dan in wtf tkd, i love the back kick axe and spinninghook, the rest including the shitty stance is gardbage

  • @MartialValor Hey peehole.. if your saying that its about which MArtial art is stronger and not the fighter... then it means your not ready for martial arts... and stop boasting about your rank in TKD... i have a 1st degree blackbelt too in ITF TKD... Aikido = Epic.. Taekwondo = Epic... Wing Chun = Epic... Muay Thai = Epic... Judo = Epic... Other Martial ARts taht are not in this comment = Epic... all Martial Arts are awesome... Its just that some fighters are weak and strong...

  • @ymk19 Okay i agree then. Must a a curse that everyone but judo and muay thai can actually fight properly. And that wing chun and especially ITF taekwondo have horrible fighter the art is amazing its just no one is good enough for the art. Because it seems they all suck and like the 1 good ITF fighter in the world serkan yilmaz gets his ass kicked all the time too. Looses most of his fights. Thats right its the fighter. The art is just too amazing for the average person to do properly.

  • @MartialValor yup

  • Comment removed

  • @MartialValor I've seen Muay Thai get it's ass kicked by ITF many times, you don't know what you're talking about tbh. Only the arrogant boast, just shut up and be respectful of martial arts in general, I bet you're a pussy in real life.

  • @ymk19

you are an intelligent man and understand the martial arts :)

  • @uni45col Thanks friend. :)

  • @MartialValor You sound like a very poor martial artist.

You must of came from what is normally called a Mcdojo, and then obviously you come from martial sports as well. Since you boast Muay Thai and Judo. It's not the art... it is the martial artist. How he trains in that art will determine his results.
