My moms Percheron used to do that to her. They'd be walking on the trail and he'd walk through the trees. :) It's hard to steer beastie horses sometimes, especially if the bridle isn't working right. :)

When I was a kid I had a pony that would run full tilt and "brush" the rider off with a low-hanging tree limb! He did it on purpose....and I was vulnerable due to in-experience. But I loved him anyway! Got to where I could slide alongside him riding and totally avoid the tree limb......(he looked surprised!!) rofl
