Thank you! I thought I should find a way to approach biochemistry and i stumbled on your site. Now I can memorize amino acids in a disorderly manner - I mean with less energy. Indeed, Arginine is arguably Argentina is a lye, while Serine is syrup made of urine, ha-ha-ha! Thanks again for these great instructions.

7 ionizable amino acids:

ARg LyKs His GluE TYrD Cys (Arg likes his gluey tired sis)

Arginine(R), lysine (K), Histidine (H), Glutamate(E), Tyrosine (Y), Aspartate(D) [ask for a date], Cystine(C)

pKr= 12.5(pirates 12.5 mins thing really helps), 10.2, 6.5 (history mark), 5(hands are gluey when you're 5), 10(10 tyres), 4(asked 4 times for a date), 8.5 (sister is 8.5)
