  • That is, by far, the best Whistling off Tangmere that I've heard. Have watched this video plenty of times for the second clip and will continue to do so. 5* and fav'd

  • Its sad to see very lovly line like this one go.

  • 4:50 he tesspased...

  • The guy in green looks a bit like Pete Waterman

  • I remember this day well. I've also got the cab ride DVD that was filmed on the 73s. Great vid. Liked + Faved

  • I've heard the latest over the years the government have decide to spend millions on re designing the harbour the viaduct will maybe turned into a walkway but I just wish it could be a rail way again :'(

  • Amazing video, fantastic locations -5 Stars - loved it!

  • Thanks. Lets hope they can save the branch!

  • Great Shot ! 5*s

  • absolutley superb! Amazing whistling in 2nd location! Love her whistle and seeing her tomorrow when shes travelling to Bristol. Well hopefully seeing her tomorrow as long as shes on time or late! 5* and fav'd!

  • Cant the British Transport Police, get the guy in green done for that? Where he was originally was fine. But when he walked along the track I am like WTF? Ruining the guy who was filming shot. Hot shot by the way. :) BTP can get people done who trespass on Heritage lines as well cant they?

  • did you see the way guy in the green jacket recklessly stepped over third rail.I know it was probably dead, but you never know,,,,nutter.Great video by the way,,,,,5*

  • Forget the guy in the green jacket is the cameraman not trespassing to unless he has super 100 times zoom lens and if filming from off the track

  • No, I was not trespassing as I was stood at an authorised foot crossing half way up the bank.

  • um... great...

  • nice vid, its sad when railway stations or branch lines or anything of railway that get scrapped of becomes defunct.

  • There are good plans to save Folkstone Harbour. It has plenty of uses. You should join The Remebrance Line Assosiation I can give you details. It is all grade 2 listed apparently and is nearly 170 years old. The bridge was designed by Thomas Telford and was famous in Queen Victorias reign. I can give you more information if you need it.

  • At 4:18 someone should have grabbed that idiot and pushed him out of the way and then give him a black eye!

  • The guy in the green jacket was pretty rude. He didnt care if he ruined anyones shot. Someone should have punched him in the head!

  • Thanks Tom

That stoat really shouldn't be in the four foot as technically he's trespassing. The BTP even came along at one point. Like your screen name though, as Dionysos was the first 47 I saw on the mainline!

  • Nice vid.

Should that stoat be in the four-foot to take a picture of the skip?

  • Great video Rhys! Shame that wally at the end completely ruins the end of the shot! Always one isnt there?!
