@wonderlustthing. Solidsheme did not produced any record of the album it was : Erick Sermon,Parrish Smith And Charly Marrota. Scratched by : DJ 45 AKA DJ K Laboss.Know the history dude.
I bought this cd back in the day and I still have and listen to it today. These dudes had skillz. If EPMD were co-signing them, then that says it all.
@karatekarsten It was unreleased. They had some contractual problems with their record company, & it was NEVER put out..If you have an original copy, then that was a promotional copy for the press to review. These did make it in the hands of some...
The only reason some people consider them as posers or perpetrators is straight up because they are white. Its not like you had met them and pulled their card. Especially for a group that never really took off. If people only lived half the comments they type on youtube it be a few less shit talking critics out there.
Damn I wish the hell some how came across this album or some songs from the album. My preference would be finding a authentic copy but hell if there is a way to get some MP3's of it I wouldn't turn it down.

Beat on here is sick, but them kids are corny. The album wasnt released because of bad reviews and in my opinion, record company people weren't comfortable with white boys using the n word. Plus, beat is tight, but you all have to admit, this wasnt very groundbreaking.
In comparision to a great many hip hop artists I would disagree that they had no talent. Most people consider them to not be groundbreaking but this album as an unreleased classic.
When has the question of whether an album was groundbreaking been a question whether it would be released? It wasn't released because of the breakup of the Hitsquad, EPMD, and also whether they would be accepted as caucasians.
@states37 I totally disagree...These kids were nice, especially compared to the friggin clowns that pollute the air waves today, with that so called HIP HOP..I have their unreleased album (got my conencts), & still bump it till this day!..I PERSONALLY agree with @REBEWEOJ & say it was an unreleased classic!
I slightly agree, and i think the kids look like retards, but they did have some talent, for a couple of white kids from the middle of fucking nowhere. i don't agree with the use of the n word with white people, but the fact that they did and EPMD and Das EFX and the rest of hitsquad was unfazed by it, means that they had immense respect from them. Otherwise Erick Sermon would have NOT produced this album at all.
They would be posers if they didn't understand the culture. It's obvious from the shoutouts on PMD's solo joints, EPMD records, ect that they were a part of the hip hop culture. How many of us are on EPMD records or a part of hitsquad?
They are labeled posers for one reason only and I doubt I actually have to say it. Bigotry in a different suit.

@WonderlustThing
Eric didn't produce these cats;Solid Scheme,the production team behind Das' 'Dead Serious' album did this.
I don't care what anyone says,at a time when white kids struggled to get respect these cats were crazy raw;not one wack joint on their entire Lp.

What exactly would make them posers?
REBEWEOJ 3 years ago
These guys always struck me as silly little posers but I still like this album. Some noddin' beats by Sermon.

come on ,man, dudes were in high school with Erick Sermon, and got to be a part of the infamous Hit Squad, I'd be posing like fuck as well
