  • it sounds like he´s farting xDD WTF :D

  • i believe it is back stance for the blocks and shift to front stance when you punch, or at least thats how we learn it at my school

  • for the last 2 moves is it back stand or front stand??

  • @minnieboonlada, it looks like he is shifting his weight from back to front, back to front.

  • Very well done. I am green blue belt. I gave up about 2 years ago when i was consedered the best in my dojo . I learned this before sa jang and chill jang before oh jang. What i want to say is. This is really good. Taekwndo helps u clear ur body and mind and with a litle effort u can really bee good at it.

  • Best way I remember this form is the stomp that Grand Master Rho always did on the returns on Steps 2, 4, 14, 16.

  • its great but i wish u could slow it down a bit

  • @KaulitzBeijpe

6 dan mike black once told me "dont worry about rank or tests, if you are training like you should rank takes care of itself." dont be nervous, if you are ready your ready if ur not ur not

  • in March i will be testing for black belt

  • well done

  • tuls from tkd itf are better. without wave its like in karate - it dont have style...

  • lulz i forgot all my poomsaez as well

  • @felnaris whoohoo!!! It happens to most of us... Master (undisclosed) says that I need to do my poomses at least 300 times to really know them. lol. (this could take a while)

  • i am a black belt and left for a year but now i am back. because of all that time off i have forgotten my patterns!!!! i am so cheesed!!! i was the best at patterns before i left and now i can't even remember taegeuk ee jang!!!! for some reason i can remember chil jang though...o.o i don't get how that works. some black belt i am lol!!

  • @TheElmoShow1 No one masters their forms quickly. Just get back into practicing them and you'll remember.

  • @TheElmoShow1 Same but i have been away for 5 years and quit when i was blue stripe. But after 5 weeks with taekwondo im alomst the best again but i can see that i need to work on something and the technics cause if im doing a technic a little wrong im being soo mad at my self. perfect perfect perfect xD

  • today i'm getting black belt!

  • @DarkessMalik congrats!

  • today im getting red belt! lol

  • isnt tkd kinda bad because i heard about a kid becoming a blackbelt with 2 years but in brazilian jujitsu takes 1 year to earn 1 belt

  • @LiIdayne1232 that's because all the color belts are for is to help you prepare for blackbelt. your first blackbelt only says you are ready to begin martial art training. it may take several years of training between each level after that.

  • @LiIdayne1232 First, any school that awards a black belt to ANYONE within two years is not a proper school. Secondly, in the WTF no one under the age of 16 receives a true black belt, instead they get a "junior black belt", which they can use as proof of their training to test for their 1 Dan belt at age 16.

Also, after you achieve 1 Dan, there is a minimum number of years before you can test for the next rank equal to your current Dan rank.

  • @CapnRis Mate you know nothing, i am 15 and i have my 1st dan black belt. i think you are drunk. and dont try and force crap into other peoples minds. and if you are questioning whether im legit. i won the 14-15 year old 1st dan national champs in canberra AIS 2010. get a life

  • i kno this pattern and im only yellow belt

  • On the first :

For the Ap-Tchagui and the follow Momtong Bakkat Maki , he returns on Dwit Koubi, isn't a Ap Koubi ? Didn't he make de mistake ? ( I will see that with my teacher but I think he must be on Ap koubi and not with a Dwit Koubi )

  • Qual faixa que e esse poomsae ???

  • I am trying to do that now :P

  • there is a mistake: after the first dollyo-chagi he makes an olgul-makki but actually it's a pakat-makki. Am i right or is that because of the changes that happened?

  • Wow this form is soo easy I was a bit nervous I thought it would be complicated and what not but it's like orange belt form not the moves the easy level :)

  • @alysa989 hmm it looks difficult though, I'm about to learn this one, need to know it for my next exam.

  • @RegularJohnny no its really not difficult at all i actually write it down then

memorize the moves and words, for example ill write it like left hand to the left low block backstance right leg front kick land back and so on thats my way of learning it it might work for you or might not all you have to do is use different methods of learning the form and then youll find the easist fastest way to learn for you !

    good luck :)

  • @alysa989 oh cool, thanks for the tips! Much appreciated :) I'll certainly give it a try. I have very good Taekwondo instructors though, they'll help me through it. But I'm sure that it'll seem difficult at first and after practicing it many times it'll seem easy.

  • @RegularJohnny my way is kind of a long process and good instructors is the key i have excellent instructors but some advice if your competing with form or at a testing remember don't mouth your actions see i memorize the words and when i do my form i'll be saying it! thats the only not good thing about memorizing it so always make sure to never mouth your form its not cool :) btw what belt are you just wondering ;0

  • @alysa989 cool, thanks for all the tips. Taekwondo season is almost starting here! August 23rd. I've got a blue belt. And you?

  • @RegularJohnny I'm getting my red belt in about a month or two so i'm just touching up my purple belt form and your most welcome is your taekwondo club in the USA?

  • @alysa989 you guys have purple belts? We don't have that. I'll get my blue/red belt in December, in June my red belt. After that it's red/black, and than I'll get my black belt. I guess it depends on which club you go to. No my Taekwondo club is in The Netherlands, we learn WTF btw. And where are you from?

  • @RegularJohnny ya we have purple and then red then brown and brown black stripe then black i'm in Canada alberta and my club is also with worldtaekwondofederation

    or WTF

  • I love THIS POOMSAE

  • I love tkd

  • ugh i feel you i got kukkiwon certification in 10 days, ironically on my birthday

  • testing for black belt in 11 days, this helps, thanks

  • This really helps out when im home and cant check my moves with my teacher!!!!

  • I just recently got blue belt so now I ahve to learn this poomsae for my next belt exam :D even though they say I only need to learn these moves and their order. So I don't really need to try perfect my moves that well.

  • He drops his hands when he does dolyo chagi (round house kick)

  • why???

  • i'm green belt

    but i love this poomsee

  • wen u get to taegeuk pal and chil jang it gets really fun i love pal jang its my favorite form out of my forms

  • Is this the form I need to learn to get a red tag?

  • @lilanna25 In every school is different. The belts go differently.

  • yaay, im gonna get my blackbelt :D this helped alot . I have to learn like 8 forms and 16 one steps and do a whole bunch of stuff for it andddd TESTING D: .

  • dude the black belt testing isn't hard just do poomse a couple self defense some kicks and break a board.

  • That's all you do? At my school, we do basics as a warmup (30 minutes), forms (around 45 minutes), sparring (30 minutes), and then break concrete (and a three station board break for people testing for second degree+).

  • Lolz I didnt say that was all

  • well for my black belt testin i herd that i had to break boards with every hand and kick technique and break a brick and know the forms...i mite hav to know the self defenses all the way to 13 but i already know up to 10

  • I'm curious you mentioned there is no down block but in this video he does two of them....in the first few moves -- or is that not a down block? Is it referred to as something different? I'm not a black belt, I"m a blue belt, so I'm just learning this form.

  • it is a down block

  • there are down blocks in this form, 4 of them to be exact. I'm testing for my blackbelt in a few months and this form is pretty much perfect. He goes a little too fast I think for one to really see and understand the form though.

  • they are not "down" blocks at the begining, they are "low" blocks. Some schools may call then differently, but the down block isin Chil Jang.

  • Your mountian block, I think that's what it's called, has alot to be desired.

  • The guy made a mistake at around 0.30 why was the first block diff frm the other?

  • No he did not

  • what are you talking about?

  • because in the second on you hve to change hand

  • no that was right!

  • All note that at the end he does a right foot return not left foot. This is correct but most people get this wrong by returning left foot. Very nicely done form.

  • thanks! this made it alot easier.

  • Genial. Die Video´s sind super zum üben, wenn mal kein Meister in der Nähe ist. Die Techniken vom 6. Teaguek sind eigentlich einfach, aber die Abfolge reinzukriegen ist echt heavy.

  • ill have a hard time memorizing this... =p

  • really? Because I learned forms 1-8 in under a year, no trouble at all memorizing them. But I think that's actually just me xD. I can read a book and then remember exact words from it months later for no reason at all. My brain is weird o.o.

  • me too 0.o

  • Lulz, I was forced to learn them quickly since I'm on a scholarship here. I wanted to earn my learning.

  • I was sarcastic hense the 0.o

  • There was no 0.o as far as I can see...

  • thank you so much! this is very useful :D

  • wait dont u hav 2 wait 5 seconds when u do da 2 hands goin down

  • He was doing it right, but just not bringing his hands down right from the top. Some people do that, just a style of doing it. So they DO wait at least 5 seconds until they do that "snap" :)

  • Yeah most common way to do it is "slow to a count of 5".

  • All Taegeuk forms should be performed as instructed by Kukkiwon. This black belt is doing the form as created by Kukkiwon. Anything else is a modified form.

  • ditto

  • There is no down block in this form. The block is an inside block at the solor-plex area. If you are doing a down block then you are doing it incorrectly. This black belt is doing the form correctly.

  • ahh i see thanx alot :D

  • very googd

  • Aguyje pemoîhague rehe kó'â ta'angaryrýi ko'ápe! = Thanks for posting these videos here!

  • this help me remember this

  • yay this helps
