This is shameful brothers and sisters... This is a beautiful sermon about the glorious and infinite love that God has towards his people and here, in the comment section, I see his people, bickering about Mark Driscoll. Regardless of some of his antics, the man loves Jesus which means you are supposed to love him, AND EACH OTHER, which is also not apparent in some of these comments... What if a lost person sees this? We're supposed to be known by the love we show one another.

I could only stand listening to about ten seconds of Driscoll. I don't know why.. I am just saying.

Reverence for God and His Word should be exercised at all times. He is the Creator of the universe and is coming back to judge. Seems pretty serious to me.

We can all put down Driscoll, if Piper agrees so be it, what matters is are you growing closer to Christ, putting down others is no worth to your spiritual life with Christ. It's no going to make matters worse or better. If he isn't bringing you closer to Christ, then don't listen to Him, Our desire is to come closer and deeper in our love with Christ. So why don't you guys denounce Mark Driscoll. He has used the Lord's name when peddling his filth. His Christian Nymfo, Dominatrix, or "PornAgain".

Calling Jesus a "Dude", then using the Holy Lord's name, while mixing his lusty filth.

By the way, John Piper confirms Mark Driscoll. He "loves Driscoll thelogy". They share "Glorious truths". What ever that is.

Oooch - you've hit a bit of a sore nerve with this one with Driscoll. I've heard a number of Driscolls sermons and Dr Piper is right to say he is theologically sound (because he is). However, Dr John MacArthur, Phil Johnson have hammered Driscoll for his rather raw (& sometimes crude) pulpit vernacular. Apparently, Dr Piper, CJ Mahaney & others are taking Driscoll up this & working with him. We should be praying that these godly men can bottom this out, & not have a storm-in-a-theological-teacup

You would not wait for the likes of Piper tell you what is okay and not okay. You would be disgusted and offended.

If Piper does not know that much. He is just foolish. And just want to be popular and hang out with the likes of Driscoll to be Pop Pastor. This is false Christianity.
