She sounds very pretty but the blocking is weird...my high school did dreamgirls as well and I was effie. Love you i do isnt in the actual show but we added it as well we blocked as if Effie was in the studio recording it just for fun. We cut one of Lorrell's songs so we both sung that one together. It was fun

Ummmm Effie has a wonderful vocal instrument BUT there is a lack of character from both she and Curtis. This song was not originally in the play and i sorta see why.

Another thing is the blocking was very distracting and awkward.

I'm not knocking it though...it was a decent number.
